WPIC offers an array of exceptional courses tailored for any wedding professional (new or seasoned) wanting to get a better understanding of the industry as a whole, and really focuses on how to set up and start your business, with success and knowledge to back it up! Their different courses offer valuable insight into every facet of starting your career in wedding planning, destination wedding planning and design. Along with ongoing continued support through their alumni forum, there are continued learning opportunities through regular webinars and conferences. They have created a community of industry professionals who can share insight, knowledge and additional support for one another. I have been a proud member of WPIC since 2006 and continue to recommend this course to anyone wanting to enter the wedding industry, whether you're a wedding planner, florist, DJ, Venue coordinator or a decor company; their courses offer something for everyone. A big kudos to WPIC for creating a community of true industry professionals and lifelong friends.

I would highly recommend The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. I have been fortunate enough to make a full time career out of Wedding Planning after taking their course. I now have my dream job in Jamaica, planning destination weddings. Danielle and Tracey are professional, connected and always thinking of new ways to help their WPIC alumni. Encourages price fixing among planners they certify which undermines competition. Threaten planners who price competitively for their market claiming their code of ethics which speaks to transparency. Forcing planners to charge a set amount is unethical but also not transparent thereby breaking their own code of ethics. Kick them out of their own for-profit school?!
