Nice store, I found it expensive tho.Update: I'm am quite familiar with the items and products carried in the store.The reply to my comment just shows exactly why you can't support local. They treat people like they are stupid. I spend 1000$s on this type of gear. But very little local because local dosen't bother to keep prices or products current.I needed a portable stove for the next day. I bought a cheap stove. But paid dearly for it. First tho. The woman working said there wasn't anything available. I had a look and found them for her. Wasn't even compact. But it was $49.99. When I checked online the same thing was $24.99. Hence my comment I found it an expensive storeAlso alot of the products in this store looks like it's been on the shelf for quite awhile. Dusty. I strongly suggest you check out Decathlon.ca or altitude-sports.com or mountain warehouse

Nice store with very good brands and a great dog. Don't miss the coffee shop and bar downstairs too! Nice patio out back.

Glad to see there's a quality outdoor store on the island. North Sydney is a great location for it as it's on the way to Newfoundland, The Cabot Trail and other great hiking spots. They even sell Chase the Ace tickets.

Friendly helpful staff will help you with whatever adventure have planned! When you are done shopping go tho their downstairs coffee shop named Higher Grounds for a coffee. Or if you would prefer a cold beer or glass of wine they have you covered. Great place to unwind after a long day or gear up for a summer/winter adventure!

Really great variety of high-quality clothing and outdoor items here. Nice cafe/bar downstairs with a patio. You can tell a lot of care was taken with this space. Nice little rooms and alcoves with books and comfy chairs. I hope to return!

Very helpful staff, friendly dogs in the shop. All in all a terrific experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for outdoor gear.
