Seabold Rotary Park
Little park with a stair case going down to the ocean front and Sandy beach (sand bars). Be careful with the sink holes on the beach. I sunk in up to my knee (about 2 feet) in a matter of seconds and almost lost my shoe. These are grwat areas for the beach access points but remember that when y8u climb down 200 stairs you also have to climb up the same 200 stairs. It's beautiful and a good work out.

A hidden spot for a nice beach and walk along the coast, find you zen and watch your sunrise. Could be romantic gateway for vacation stop or cleanse mind. Take you away from the crowds.

Great stairs, playground is good. Be careful with the sand here depending at what time you go, you can get your footwear stuck if not wearing appropriate footwear.

The new walkway down to the ocean is epic! I'm reminded of the Grouse Grind, lol...bring a water bottle for sure!

Slide, swings, monkey bars, and fire pole. Decent structure, excellent view of the water (stairs down but didn't go). Excellent for tweens and below, the slide and baby swings are good for toddler age. Lots of seating and picnic tables.

Beautiful! Nice small park with swings, small play structure, picnic tables, benches and a garbage can, and a walkway (lots of stairs) down to a beautiful beachfront (rocky beach, not sand).

Great little spot. There are about 200 stairs to climb down (then back up) so be prepared for a bit of a workout. The entry way to the stairs is between some houses so at first we thought we had the wrong place. We just parked on the street

Dec 17/2017The park has the best stairs for awork out.Try climbing back up limiting your rest stops. The day I came here no less than four different groups were running hard up and down flat out.The play ground on the upper part has swings and a small slide.Down at the beach,come here when the tide is low so that you can wonder along the beach.Have fun.Feb5/2021. WOW,New steps built by Nanaimo Parks. Nice build on the steps that will be here for many generations.Great set of steps.Try climbing back up with stopping, check your heart rate

Seabold Rotary Park
New stairs are beautiful, sturdy and wide. Beach at the bottom is very small at high tide. You have to cross several slippery logs from the bottom of the stairs to the sandy part of the beach, so be careful!
