Couscous restaurant

Recently I had dinner at this place and I must commend the owners and the chef for the quality of the food and the courteous and welcoming customer service, so rare these days in Montreal. We had the lamb tagine, couscous and a Moroccan wine; the food was fresh from the kitchen, prepared on the spot, we could even listen to the pot lids clanging and the chef doing his job; the lamb was tender and flavourful and the wine was great and matched the main dish (I have to confess this is the first time I have Moroccan wine, and I liked it). The place is cozy, has the vibe of a family-run restaurant in the neighbourhood, and it has been added to my list of places to come back whenever I fancy some Moroccan food.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in Montreal. The couscous was delicious- our group tried the merguez, osso bucco and lamb. The lamb was my favourite. Very large portions. My grandmother used to make us couscous from Algerie and this is the real deal. Delicious.

A small and beautiful piece of Morroco in Vancouver

We booked a reservation here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess quickly and met with the most charismatic server. We listened to the recommendations and went with the salmon and the seafood linguine. Wonderful flavours and presentation. With dinner we had a bottle of wine. The sommelier presented us with options that would be best suited for our meal with knowledge and experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the suggestions and the food paired beautifully. 10/10. We will be back.

A Moroccan restaurant with great decorations, ambiance and food. We went there on a friday night and saw the belly dancer do her thing. Service was good also. I went with Moroccan people which confirmed that all the food and decorations were authentic. Go this place if you want an authentic Moroccan experience!

We went there as a group of 5 for the Souper spectacle". We had to wait a very long time to have someone come and give us water. The entree was served quite fast

I thought the decor and ambience was great and the servers were very nice and willing to please. The timing of the food and drinks was horrendous. We ordered drinks and our meal within 5 min of being seated but waited 20 min for our drinks and an hour before we got our entree. There were only two other tables in the restaurant at the time.The food was delicious and so were the cocktails, but charging $30 for a tangine with 5 meatballs and a few vegetables was pretty steep. Add on the poor time management and I'm not sure I would go back.

Amazing atmosphere, great staff, great wine selection. Outstanding entrées and appetizers! Bavette is next level - one of th best I have ever had. Lamb Shank was incredible. Dessert was outstanding, ...I'm usually not a caramel girl but oh my god, never had anything close to this good! I'm in heaven

Food was delicious and fresh. Lots of new flavours i had not had before. There are belly dancers that come by every so often and do a few songs. The ambiance is dark and unique. The service needs to be tweaked in my opinion. My food was delivered to the wrong table and so it took forever. The actual servers are very kind and accommodating. Recommended!
