Recently I had dinner at this place and I must commend the owners and the chef for the quality of the food and the courteous and welcoming customer service, so rare these days in Montreal. We had the lamb tagine, couscous and a Moroccan wine; the food was fresh from the kitchen, prepared on the spot, we could even listen to the pot lids clanging and the chef doing his job; the lamb was tender and flavourful and the wine was great and matched the main dish (I have to confess this is the first time I have Moroccan wine, and I liked it). The place is cozy, has the vibe of a family-run restaurant in the neighbourhood, and it has been added to my list of places to come back whenever I fancy some Moroccan food.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in Montreal. The couscous was delicious- our group tried the merguez, osso bucco and lamb. The lamb was my favourite. Very large portions. My grandmother used to make us couscous from Algerie and this is the real deal. Delicious.

Delicious food. I had the chicken tajine with olives and my wife had the lamb and merguez sausage couscous. Small restaurant with nice atmosphere. Highly recommend

We had a good expérience, worm ambiance, very private restaurant a little bit expensive but tasty. You have to bring your own alcohol but you can order coffees, teas, and soft drinks.

I had a wonderful experience at Au Coin Berbère Couscous. The staff are warm, friendly and provide excellent service. It was my first time at their restaurant and I will be back. Being alone I decided to simply have the Lamb and Merguez with Couscous. The portion was large and very delicious and the in house made Merguez Sausage was exceptional. I highly recommend trying theirs.

Best couscous in Montreal! Generous portions, delicious lamb and merguez. The mechoui is definitely worth the trip, order in advance. It comes with a flavourful rice. They are now open on Sunday and have a nice terrace.

We had an absolutely exceptional experience here last night. Not only were the food and service excellent, they went above and beyond during a power outage. Even though the power was out for about sn hour, they still prepared and served excellent food while making sure that everyone had a candle on their table. Hats off to the chef who managed to cook the rice perfectly even in the dark! The spiced olives are heavenly! One of the owners came and chatted with us after the meal, it was a great conversation. Will definitely go back.

They have friendly customer service, good Moroccan wines (a first for me !), and scrumptious food. We had the ossobuco tagine and it was glorious, the Berber salad was fresh and the stuffed dates for dessert were just right. The waiter was honest and told us that they had no lamb because it was gone by the time they went to the market (which means that the ingredients are fresh)... we'll have to come back to try the lamb tagine. The place is small and can get a bit noisy if it fills up but it's worth a visit, the food deserves repeated visits.
