Beds not changed for 8 days despite my daughter having a nose bleed on the sheets.Kept having to remind reception that there were 3 people staying in my room and ask for an extra towel when housekeeping had been.Good location, not too far from the city, plenty of places to eat around.

This really is all about the staff. The cleaning staff did such an amazing job. Me and my friwnds really noticed the small things they did to tidy up that we've never seen anywhere else. Also the wait staff in the restaurant made the experience so personable. We were very impressed by the level of service! Great job!

I've read so many 1 star reviews about this hotel but it was already booked by the company so I stayed. I didn't see any bed bugs, I wasn't bitten. The beds were fine. The rooms are OK. Their linens and towels are a bit dated and the hotel is a bit older but I had no complaints. The breakfast bar is sufficient. I did find a very spoiled creamer but the rest that I used were fine.The staff seem like they don't really care to be there but they still do their job.

Avoid this hotel at all costs and go stay somewhere else. Disgusting second hand smoke hotel.. We booked online, and the pictures look MUCH, nicer then it actually is. You start off by walking into the lobby where there’s duct tape holding things together, trim broken, and all around worn and it sets the tone for the hotel. I checked in and got my room key, I started walking down the hall and the first thing I could smell is cigarette smoke I quickly looked at the doors to see if there was a no smoking sign which there was, and was immediately upset. I walked to my room and I could smell a stale smell like it was smoked in before, the furniture was well used the leather on the chair was falling apart the bathtub was disgusting and the bathroom floor looked dirty. It looked nothing like the pictures online. I immediately walked to the front desk, and as I walked back I didn’t smell the cigarette smoke. I told the kind girl at the front desk that I want to check out and want a refund. She told me she can’t issue a refund and that I had to call the booking company that I used to book the room. After an hour of sitting on the phone with the booking company, they told me that the property needs to respond to them and issue the refund. I went to the front desk for a second time to explain the situation and again could smell cigarette smoke. Worse than the first time. I told her I was checking out and that I was booking else where. She apologized and confirmed that two rooms were smoking and she didn’t know what to do. (I guarantee this isn’t the first time) The next day I called the manager and he told me to send him an email explaining the issue, which I did. Basically he charged me for the one night and refunded the rest. Which I am furious about because I didn’t even stay there and payed for two rooms the first night in Calgary. Had I known I would have stayed in the second hand smoke hotel and checked out in the AM.Just after one hour sitting in that disgusting room my clothes smelt like $h!t.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL. There’s much nicer options for the same price of this poor excuse for a hotel.

Our room and bathroom were pretty neat and tidy. That’s pretty much all I cared about when booking a budget hotel to sleep for a night. The building is really old and so are the facilities. Its a mediocre hotel so expect everything to be mediocre. The reception staff were really nice and polite. Another disappointment was the free breakfast they offered. I expected a buffet and they gave us a grab and go back with a muffin, yogurt, apple, granola bar and juice.

Bedroom was clean and spacious. We stayed for one night and had such a good rest. Breakfast was awesome; Loved the waffle maker, bagels, fruit, yogurt, eggs, cereal spreads and coffee (and juice). Couldn't have asked for more!

The room itself was what I’d expect for the price point, but that was before we tried to use anything functional. The temperature in the room was unreasonably high upon arrival, until I turned the thermostat down and left the exterior door open for a bit. The TV connectivity was spotty, and went out a few times while watching, and the worst part was the shower, which didn’t provide hot water until the pipes started screaming and vibrating to the point that the faucet handle fell off, making it impossible for my wife to quickly adjust the temperature as the water got too hot. She was unable to finish her shower.The other complaint would be that the walls to the corridor are seemingly paper thin. Housekeeping was vacuuming outside our room and the noise level made me think our door had been left open. Dogs in a neighboring room obviously felt the same, as their incessant barking went on for over an hour, and could be heard loud and clear throughout the main floor.Any attempt to have any of this rectified by front desk staff was just met with a suggestion that I phone the general manager, rather than do what I presume they are paid to do and make the call themselves.Next time I visit Calgary, I’ll be a little less cheap and stay in a hotel that understands what hospitality is. Ideally they will also understand the concept of snow removal as well. It’s early March now and I’m not sure this place has seen a snow plow all winter.

Absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT stay at this property. I repeat, do NOT stay at this property.You are required to pre pay for your stay. They do not process the payment after, every other hotel on this planet.The person working at the front desk was unable to help me at any length, they were speaking with their “manager,” on their cell phone and would not assist in any way.Booked to stay here for business and tried to cancel my stay because the room was absolutely unacceptable. Front desk was unable to help me. Called the Wyndham help line and they were not able to help me. They put me on hold multiple times and kept transferring me to their colleagues.Do NOT stay at this property.
