The Oasis Motel

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oasis this past summer.They have recently finished renovations on all the rooms/cabins.The cabins are simply stunning and it feels like a home away from home.All the cabins come with all the comforts of home, from a full functioning kitchen right on up to cable TV.I really just wanted to move in and stay, that is how comfortable I was.The beds and linens are top of the line and extremely comfortable.They also have laundry on site which makes it even more convenient when you're traveling.Staying here was 10 times better than staying in a hotel.There will be no other place we stay when I'm in central Newfoundland.I saved the best for last as the owners are one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They made us feel welcome and wanted every day of our stay.They are truly one of the kindest giving wonderful people we have ever met.We are truly blessed to have met them.

Was a great spot to stay. Very pretty area around rooms very suitable for kids. Fire pits with wheel barrow and wood provided. Only thing is limited service and wifi missing from far side of motel

I used to work homecare for the owner but it has been sold to another member of the family.Beautiful cabins and lounge.

Beautiful people to deal with. Extremely friendly but knows when you want to be alone too

Very well kept place, very clean,great location,,quite,cable,internet,,lots of parking,,able to do own cooking inside or on bbq,,would differently go back there again,,prices r very reasonable also....

This is the worst place I have ever stayed, and I have stayed in many bad places before, but this is the worst. Their cancellation policy is dodgy, we over booked an extra day, so the night before we went over to the receptionist and returned the keys telling them we will be leaving in the morning, when we checked our email we found out we were charged for that extra day anyway even when we cancelled the night before. We emailed them and got no reply. They promise free wifi, which you will not get. They put us in a cabin with a broken television and the kitchen sink was leaking. And if you want to sleep in after a tired night, you are out of luck, cause they start mowing the lawn and the break of dawn and that doesn't stop till the evening. The most unprofessional staff and a dodgy place to stay at best. Very expensive for what you get. Don't waste your money by going there. It's a pity such a nice natural location is exploited by dishonest owners like this!

Nice place but there's no air conditioning and there's signs saying heated pool ever time I've been there the heat was not on. If your not rent a cabin you can still pay to use the pool but they charge more then the YMCA

It was VERY expensive. For the price we paid there should’ve been Holiday inn, etc. on A NEW building/ sign outside. The washroom was tiny and put together with bits and pieces that looked very unprofessional. One of our cottages had no actual plumbing fixtures in the bath tub. No hair dryer, etc. Both bedrooms had beds and mattresses that felt like a they were old as they were very uncomfortable. After we checked in we came back to the room only to find the door locks have been changed with another cottage by management, for no explainable reason.Would I stay here again? NEVER!!!
