Silver Lining Inn
I had a great experience at the Silver Lining Inn and Motel. From the time of booking to when I left, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. When I requested a quiet unit, the staff suggested an end unit. The owner prepared a microwave, dishes, and cutlery available in my motel room when I arrived. The mattress and bedding are extremely comfortable. My room was clean. The best part was the nice breakfast that was included (a surprise because COVID restrictions were lifted). I would recommend this place to anyone needing a safe, quiet and clean stay in Cheticamp.

The rooms were really clean, mattresses were comfortable location perfect. the staff was helpful, provided rags to dry our motorcycle in the morning and suggested a few restaurants close by.I will go back

We stayed in the main house on the second floor. The room was small but clean and quite nice. The continental breakfast had a good selection of fresh baked muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs and breads.

Beauty spot. The room isn’t hugs, but it’s got everything you’ll need. The pic is the view from our front door, at sunset. We walked down the street and had supper at a local pub/restaurant. Enjoyed a couple drinks on our patio, and watched the sunset. Perfect wrap up to driving the Cabot Trail. Beauty views and beauty people.Breakfast is served with a smile, and knowledgeable conversation about the area (and delicious fresh baked muffins). If we make our way back, this will be our preferred stay. Cheers

Very clean, comfortable room. The people who run it are very pleasant and welcoming, with delicious breakfast included. It was our best stay along the Cabot trail!

Silver Lining Inn
A perfect location in the heart of Cheticamp. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They called and got us supper reservations at a nearby restaurant. That was a short walk away. We stayed in the King suite that is upstairs with a view of the bay. The bed was excellent!! Breakfast exceeded our expectations, with delicious homemade muffins. We would definitely recommend the Silver Lining and do plan to return in our next visit to the Cabot Trail.

Silver Lining Inn
We stayed in one of the motel rooms behind the inn. That room was decorated, cleaned and maintained better than a lot of chain hotels I've been in. Comfortable and cute.Breakfast was included, and happened in the dining room within the inn itself.The owners are the sweetest people ever, and made us feel cared about and welcome the second we checked in.If I'm ever in Cheticamp again, I will be staying here!!

Clean and comfortable. A good place to rest after a long day on the Cabot Trail. The host was very kind and provided breakfast in the morning. Check in and check out were both easy. Good location for walking around Cheticamp.

Raymond from Silver Linings Inn is so friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, proximity to the water and dining, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room we stayed in. Will definitely stay again when we return to Cape Breton!

Silver Lining Inn
I am participating in the the Cabot Trail Relay Race 2022... Very friendly and welcoming. Newly renovated... brand new room and bathroom. We are checking out early so they put hand made baking and a coffee pot ready to go in the room with food in the fridge. Amazing service.
