Simcoe Building Centre

This location is a little off the beaten path on Cedar Street, in the south end of Bracebridge. Easy access from Hwy 11.This a complete building centre, not just masonry supplies. It is primarily geared to professionals. They don't have much in the way of Plumbing and electrical supplies; but they have a good selection of competitively priced products to differentiate themselves from the big box retailers.They're the only place in Muskoka (that I know of) that carry shingles manufactured by Owens Corning (Oakridge). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Just one thing to say about this company horrible I was working for them and my other half became sick had to call two ambulances for her in one night so I spoke with my bosses explaining the situation of why time off is needed because with wife needed to get surgery I offered proof to them and they send a text message saying we are letting you go when prior to this I asked my boss directly will this affect me his words no family first well guess that not true what is someone to do when there wife is on heavy pain killers and we are back and forth to the hospital when you have a 3yr old child you can’t leave them with someone that can’t lift or is on that kind of medication thank you simcoe building centre for making an already stressful time even worse

They were friendly and had the item I was looking for at a good price. They also loaded it in my car.

Staff is friendly but overall pretty disorganized. I’m a contractor and I waited 25 minutes for 2 pieces of pressure treated lumber

We would like to thank Scott at Simcoe Masonry in Bracebridge for the amazing customer service! We placed an order through Scott to pick up some building materials. He called us back to let us know the order had been placed and when it should arrive. He kept us updated when there was a delay. He even had our order delivered to make up for the delay involved. Customer service is such an important part of a sales transaction and Scott obviously has it down to a fine art!! Thank you so much Scott!!

I would definitely recommend using the Bracebridge Simcoe Building Centre for all your building needs. Mike O'Brian was so friendly, efficient and helpful. Out of town builder using this company for tens of thousands of dollars of material, tools etc. When their booked delivery was going to be late we went the day before to pick up thousands of dollars worth of the order to keep the jobsite from stand around twiddling our thumbs. The older woman(shipper/receiver?) in the showroom was giving me HUGH GRIEF for me trying to get thousands of dollars of our PAID MATERIAL because its all on one invoice!? WHAT? I worked retail for over 30 years in the construction/building industry and have NEVER heard of a lazier excuse! AND I have never felt so belittled by an employee and the sharp-tongued lashing 'Karen' was giving me for wanting to pick up purchased products! This woman is awful and should NOT be speaking to public! The other young woman with the ponytail was a charm, courteous and professional.Unfortunately 'Karen' in the front has forced me to give the lowest possible stars, even though i wanted to give LESS, while the young man operating the fork truck loading my concrete should deserve 10 STARS along with the nicest, friendliest 70 year old yard help gentleman, who was also the nicest, friendliest and most professional.I will NOT be returning to this store for any project.

Needed some bricks for a small project down south so decided to stop in on my way. Glad I did. Counter staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Crew in the yard were just as good. What a great all around experience.
