Came in for the trivia night and it was great! The quiz was really fun (and challenging), and the name that tune was on point. We didn't win, but we'll be back to check it out again! Great service and the staff and drinks were awesome.Didn't eat this time but I'll be back for more!

The two servers in the front seemed really upset to be working. Two blonde women, one of which was frowning at her bar. Very short and rude when asking about what beers were on the menu special (tall boy special). Waited about 7 minutes for a cider tall boy. I get that we all have bad days but we were looking forward to checking this neighborhood spot out. The service was 2 star for sure. There was live music. The talent was ok but at least they played at a nice volume to still be able to listen to our conversation without screaming.Bright side the short ribs were delicious. Would order them again for sure, but I would recommend take out. Our friend ordered the veggie burger and they mentioned it was tasty but the fries were cold. The ribs were amazing though. Food was a four star, service was lackluster.

5 stars for the food. Every time I go here for dinner I realize that I've just walked into a bar, but then the food arrives and it transforms into a gastronomic experience you would normally get in a true restaurant environment. Decent atmosphere most of the time, until the later hours when the real bar" comes out. The brisket is awesome and the sides are good. Desert selection is limited but usually tasty. Sometimes there are specials which go outside of the normal menu. Service is good. I would recommend The Trop."

Be sure to check out Tuesday night trivia!Kale ceasar salad was great! Nice selection craft beer on tap. Steak was good, but a little tough.

The food is delicious and their happy hour specials are a great price. Love the four types of dumplings and the ribs.They also get in some great bands and in the winter when there’s a line up to get in, they allow people to line up on their patio under a heat lamp and they serve them drinks.My only complaints are that they need more wing flavours and to double their square footage.

Came in for a quick drink, the bartender Brandon was amazing! Immediately acknowledged us as we sat down, waited less than a minute for a drink. He was very polite, with great recommendations. Will definitely be back

I recently had the great pleasure of being able to attend a fundraiser for The Veterans Food Bank here. The ownership here in conjunction with the organizers of the event participated heavily in helping to raise thousands of dollars for our local Veterans.They provided an amazing space, service and food that allowed people to have a great time while they donated. There was even enough room for live music to be played by a band here. The ownership here realizes how important it is to give back to the community around them. That is a great quality in a local business owner.There is plenty of parking around and after a great meal it is easy to go for a walk in River Park just a block away.This is definitely a local business that cares.

The Trop Bar & Grill
Today, Saturday, we decided to go for a dinner in The Trop. We ordered the brisket and beat salad. The brisket was nice but they brung other salad. We waiting for the change to beat salad. The waitres were good but one forgot my creams (mayonnaise and hot sauce) for that reason I had to stand up to ask for my creams. The food was nice but the service has to improve a little more.
