Nice easy trail for the whole family. Trail is easy although it is a little rocky at places. Grassland/low trees little to no shade if walking on a very hot sunny day. There was a picnic table at the entrance. Very enjoyable.

Quiet, private path. Excellent for night hiking. Peaceful atmosphere. Parking for ~10 cars. Birds will eat seed from your hand.

It was a beautiful and simple family walk with three little kids. Perfect to explore nature - lots of birds, butterflies, caterpillars, interesting plants and rock formations, and we saw a forest road too! Will go back again.

Very quiet, nice mix of open areas and woods. Pay attention to where your putting your feet especially in the fall. The trail is rocky and it's easy to get tripped up by a rock hiding in the leaves. Speaking of leaves, while the colors are beautiful there are some areas where the trail isn't as clear, if you spot small benches along the way you know your on the right path.

A beautiful set of trails with many different aspects of nature to experience. Not too long and good for the beginner. There are benches throughout, to take a little break and enjoy the scenery.

Took the kids over March break and really enjoyed the trail. There are bird feeders at the entrance, so lots of birds fluttering around. We also saw a bunny. The path has different loops, so you can do a quick walk, or keep going and do a much longer hike. There is a bench part-way for a snack break.Part of the trail was closed, but I imagine just because it is winter and the trail isn't groomed.

First visited June 20/21 to look at geology and plants. Many birds. Many invasive and some native plants in bloom. Perimeter trail winds in and out if forest, old meadow, and alvar pavement. There were many butterflies on the alvar meadows. Small parking lot. But interesting hike. Revisited June 23/21. Good karst features exposed on the limestone exposures.

Nice trail although not suitable to bring your toddler. Lots of rocks and small tree stumps on pathway and once you start to get deeper in the trail it's not as well maintained. I would return but not with my toddler.

We love walking the dog through here or for a quick hike before supper. A leisurely stroll for watching birds. Horribly disappointed that someone wiped out the ramps this year. They were dug out without responsibility or respect. I fear they will be eradicated at this special spot because of some ones greed. Shame on you.
