Very clean new eye care clinic with the best specialists one needs. Excellent service and efficiently run clinic in NDG area with tunnel in the Metro to the MUHC. Were very lucky to have here.

The staff is good, except when trying to make an appointment, which took months. Waited 3 hours for my appointment, which was scheduked for 10am. They clearly need to change scheduling because this system is not working

Even that you have an appointement you will spend hours and hours overtherepeople in front anre impolite , careless and not competent when they call to book an appointement they impose the ippointement and talk very rude and when you arrive and want to register they talk to each other ... and when finaly is your turn it is like you are bothering them they forget that their sallary comes from the taxpayer money and because there is patients and finally after hour you are called for a test the technicien talk so fast and rud that you are stress although is not the case of all technicien some of them surprisingly are nice !I have big stress each time that I have to go thereunfortunatly I had to deal with different departement in different hospital because of my health problem worse service is here eventhough they have enough people working there and a beautiful new service

My appointment was in the fall of 2018. I had a bad experience with this place beginning with the receptionist. The women behind the glass partition clearly have no people skills. There is not a hello/bonjour to be heard from them. They look miserable and smiling perhaps would clearly be a no no. They seem to like sitting on their behinds and getting up is a big ordeal. If you don't like your job find something else. Management is as much at fault for not doing anything about it. The opthamologie nurse is not very professional nor caring. I called with a valid concern and never received a call back.

If I could give a negative rating I would! Everything these days is blamed on covid! However, incompetence is inexcusable regardless. Patients get sick. Try getting through or have someone return your call!! Trying to get through to Pope Francis is much easier and probable!!!!So once again, had to go to ER so I could see yet another different specialist in ophthalmology. Terrible, unacceptable service. They should ALL be fired!

This eye center is very professional. Dr Authurs is the best doctor I met, very patient, nice and explain everything clear. He gave me a chirurgie to remove a kyste before my eye, it was a miracle to do such a big operation. Thanks dr Authurs.

Terrible service at the reception!!. The receptionist is so rude and seems to be on a power trip talking down to people (and this is first thing in the morning! We have a 7:30am appointment). Her tone of voice with the patient before me and again with me is unacceptable. We were here yesterday and the service was excellent. The residents and the doctors are very professional. The reception staff need to be instructed to be more courteous, respect the fact that people are here because they have serious eye problems and already have a lot on their plates. Also the receptionist needs to tone down on the stress questioning regarding COVID. We’re not stupid. We’ve lived through hospital appointments during the COVID pandemic so so need to make us feel stupid. We’re responsible people who have been fully vaccinated, have kids and elderly parents and know what it means to be responsible. Also I myself am in the clinical field (and have a much more stressful than a receptionist’s job) so no need for the authoritarian act on COVID responsibility. It’s an absolute shame that these receptionists are allowed to deal with patients this way. They are the face of the eye clinic and I do think more careful attention needs to be taken for receptionist staff selection.

Would put 0 stars if possible. The wait time is ridiculous long, dr. Wein makes appointments and leaves 10 minutes per patient knowing full well it will take longer than that. So far have waited 3 hours and there is still at the very least 6-8 patients left before me. The security guard at the entrance is ridiculously rude. Horrible experience all in all, genuinely go anywhere else.

Excellent new modern facility, excellent doctors and medical residents in training (supervised by senior doctors) and empathic nurses and assistants. Short-staffed, (part of Quebec Health System, not private) so wait times in-clinic and for appointments can be lengthy. Vending machines and wheelchair accessible bathroom. Across street from metro Station Vendôme.
