I'm not the only one impressed with this spot in Woodville.Friendly restaurant with a local artisain shop attached, has a lot of potential and hope to all hell this place sticks around.Stopped in for a bite and a beer.Fried chicken sandwhich with maple aioli, mozzarella sticks and poutine.All hit the spot!generous amount of curd in the poutine, fried chicken Sammy hot and tasty, stringy pull apart mozzarella sticks like they should be, and Couple cans of localish craft beer from Old Dog brewery.Looking forward to coming back and eventually trying everything on the menu.Kalean was an excellent host and server!Edit - name

Casual esthetics in a small town setting. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. Food was freshly made, fresh cut fries, local beef with good portions. Very fairly priced and quite tasty.

We have eaten here quite a few times, always take out and I need to eat in one of these days. They have added some menu items and what we had today were definitely winners. Garlicken Poutine and the Taco poutine. Both were delicious and the small size was more than enough. If you haven't tried the new menu yet you gotta get in here. The pictures attached have that drain plug in them but you can reference for size off it lol. Big thank you to the Lokal Staff.

There is so much to say about this little treasure! It started off a little rocky the day before when we mistakenly thought they had breakfast, although we left I really loved the feel of the place so we went back today for lunch after running around. I am so glad we did!Not only did they accommodate my sons food allergies and make him a special burger, they were so kind about it. The food is just downright delicious! I can't say it enough, the local meat in the burgers combined with their flavours make them so juicy and amazing. The gravy for their huge homemade fries is so good as well. It's a must to go back to this wonderful place!

Delicious burgers & fries, generous helpings, excellent service, soooo incredibly friendly, love going there, as well as their truck on highway 35, also at the antique barn (which is fun too) in Peterborough!!!! Ohhh & the desserts are yummy, treat yourself!!

We were excited to try the Lokal when we heard it was open for takeout! We order 2 personal sized poutines! They were such a good size for the price and soo tasty! Fries were fresh, cheese curds were fresh, and gravy was delicious and hot! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, we can’t wait to dine in when it opens! Highly recommend everyone try it!

Love it here! The guys serving us was so nice and even put a movie on for the kids in the restaurant, they have these amazing homemade burger patties. Took my niece here and we both enjoyed it so much!

Awesome quick stop eatery. Big city feel in a small city. Huge portion sizes and delicious food! We tried the regular and sweet potato poutine, deep fried pickles and the sausage. Loved it!
