MetroPolish17 Nail Lounge

I loved it here! It was my first time attending MetroPolish17 and I was absolutely blown away! The staff were super polite and very friendly. My nail technician today did an amazing job! I will definitely be returning, 12/10

By far my favourite salon in Calgary! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good beverage selection. I always see Truong for nail art, and my nails most times look even better than the inspo pic I pull up!

I gave it 2 stars because the nail tech that I was assigned rushed my shellac manicure and found that they did a bit of a sloppy job. When I rub my nails, I feel an uneven layer so I went to check my nails under the UV light and found that their work was not thorough. The sides of my nails are left out and only the top view of my nails are covered with polish. There are areas of my nails where nail polish wasn't even applied and some with visible layers of the gel polish but are not covered by the top coat. I'm quite disappointed because this was highly recommended by a friend who is a regular and the craftmanship does not reflect the price. Maybe this is a one off thing but I'm really disappointed by the end product. However, the customer service and hospitality is super welcoming though. The place is clean and I appreciate that their tools are autoclaved for each customer.

Absolutely loved my gel polish manicure from this salon! I just wanted some blue and a frosty look and that is exactly what I got! It was a special nail appt as I had an inkling that my spouse was going to propose and he did! The nails really helped make my new engagement ring shine! I didn’t get the name of the lady who did my nails, but she was so sweet and added sparkle to the frost which I wasn’t expecting, but I love it! I’m a huge glitter fan. Very clean salon, love their check in process. Very quick and affordable for sure! I will be coming back whenever I need nail services and hoping to bring my bridesmaids here! Thank you for helping add to a wonderful new years weekend!

Worst experience! I would not come back here again. The lady was rushing and wasn't listening to me when I came in to get a manicure and pedicure. She said they didn't have a buff after using the drill to file down my nails. I didn't want polish but I could immediately see the roughness of how my nails looked. The other staff was very understanding and kind. They tried to fix some of my toes, but it still doesn't compensate for the poor service. Pictures are of my nails now; you can see the difference for yourself.

This was one of the most fabulous spa experiences I had ever had! The people there were super friendly, and they sure knew how to do their stuff. Immediately they greet you with a happy smile, and get things ready for you.They have a wide selection of nail polish from several different companies of several different colours. You are not without in this place. They have all the colours of the rainbow to paint your nails with.They give you a complementary beverage or if you don’t mind a little up charge you can have an alcoholic beverage with your treatment. Each one is different and caters to people of all needs. This is not something you want to pass up.You can tell this is a happy place, because everyone has a smile, the music they play is fantastic, and the TVs that they have on are playing a lot of funny stuff to make you laugh.The place is clean, comfortable, and has a luxurious feel without feeling like you’re gonna break the bank in the place. There’s nothing intimidating about it just some good people wanting you to have a good experience.The work they do is top-notch! You get pampered, they go great lengths to make sure that you are comfortable and they will always check on you and make sure that you’re having the best time You cannot ask for a better place.

My daughter and I tried this place out today for the first time and really enjoyed our experience. They do a really good job of making sure clients are comfortable and well taken care of, they are friendly and chatty/encouraging. There are partitians up still, and all staff were wearing masks. Everything was very hygienic. They work quickly but still end up with perfect results and great nail art. We are super pleased with how smooth and positive the experience was and our nails look great! For two manicures and gel polish with nail art with 25% tip it came to $125.00. I think we found our new favorite nail salon!

Beautiful and lively interior with a million colours to choose from. Consistently speedy service for new set and fills with French design. The owner is so kind and references everyone by name while making sure everyone’s beverages are topped up. My nail tech, Kim, had great communication and was very patient with my twitchy hands. Very reasonably priced with stellar monthly deals! Love love love!

Always such a lovely experience for both my partner and I, a beautiful salon with very experienced technicians. Thank you to Tara and Jen for looking after us today it was such a pleasure
