I would highly recommend the Eye Spa at Grand River Eye Care if you are thinking about doing an IPL Photofacial! This was my first time having any sort of laser treatment and the aesthetician made me feel so comfortable and eased any anxieties I had going into it. She explained the procedure in detail, and went over all the after care instructions thoroughly so I was confident in what to do. I was a little nervous before we began, but she started out nice and slowly until I was used to the sensation from the laser and answered any questions I had throughout my appointment. I also felt very safe in terms of covid and really appreciated the safety measures Grand River Eye Care had in place. I definitely noticed some peppering on my skin within 24 hours and I’m looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks!

This was my first time for Radio Frequency Skin Tightening and it was wonderful! The treatment itself was like a warm face massage and after just a few days I'm noticing subtle changes. Cait was lovely, explained everything and communicated well throughout the treatment to ensure my comfort. Definitely recommend!

The Eye Spa at Grand River Care is fantastic! The RF skin tightening facial is so relaxing and I definitely noticed an improvement with just one treatment. In less than 12 hours I noticed the smile lines on the corners of my eyes have diminished and I’m carrying a lot less baggage under my eyes! Cait is amazing. She is so knowledgeable, lets you know what is happening every step of the way and makes the whole experience so enjoyable. 10/10 recommend!!!

Dr. Apfelbeck and her team have offered excellent care for me over the last number of years. This past fall, I needed to upgrade from simple readers to progressives and it was not an easy transition for me. Marina, along with assistance from others, was especially gracious and patience as they made adjustments not just to the glasses but also to the prescription, so that now I am no longer frustrated wearing glasses all the time but very pleased especially since my visibility is so much clearer!
