I can't say enough great things about this nail salon. Finally, a aesthetically pleasing as well as clean nail salon with the nicest nail technicians I have come across. They took extra care after explaining my knee injury as well as my diabetes. Can't wait to come back.

I highly recommend this place. I came here for the first time three weeks ago for a bio gel full set and came back today for a fill and got a pedicure too. The salon is very nice and beautiful. The staff are very professional and friendly. The owner is a very sweet lady and she made sure I was happy with my experience. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for amazing results.

Thought I would try this place after reading all the lovely reviews and I'm really impressed! Had a shellac manicure done with Alex. The staff are all so friendly and Alex did my manicure with great attention to detail. Can't wait to be back! xx

I don’t generally like leaving bad reviews but after having a terrible experience at this place, I figured I could save some people some trouble. After hearing about an infection my co-worker got from this place, I went against my better judgement to give them the benefit of the doubt. I booked to remove my bio-gel nails and a manicure to give my nails time to recover. I booked with Alex who I had a pleasant experience with once before but I didn’t even get her. Instead, I saw the older lady who I heard terrible things about and she only proved them right. My appointment felt rushed. The moment she started removing the bio gel nails, I knew something wasn’t right. She was using a sharp cuticle nipper to get in between my real nails and the bio gel nails. The purpose of removing them was to give my nails relief, not to have them butchered. She was aggressive and when I pulled back because she was applying too much pressure, she called me a baby and that I was the only person that ever complained. I have a high threshold for pain but zero tolerance for disrespect. I’m paying for a service. Not to be chastised by another grown woman who proceeded to speak Vietnamese after I was clearly already distressed and all the other nail techs just kept looking at me. I felt humiliated. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 years. This is the only nail salon I’ve ever left a bad review for. On top of that, I had my nails done here a few weeks ago and saw Annie for the same bio gel nails. It chipped 2 days later and when I came in to get it fixed, she insisted that they cracked because my nails were acrylic. Again, I’ve been going to nail salons for over 20 years, I think I know what I paid for every single time I came in for an appointment. Today’s appointment was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I’m infuriated at the level and quality of service I received. The place is like lipstick on a pig, if you ask me. Unprofessional. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Julie and Yen are such amazing ladies. I have been to many salons and none have provided the level of friendly professionalism as JY Nails. The salon is super clean and the atmosphere is so easy going. They are incredibly accommodating when scheduling appointments and have won my patronage for life!

I got a pedicure here and it was a great experience! Reasonably priced, gorgeous setting and super friendly staff. Annie did a GREAT job on my toes! Super attention to detail. Will absolutely go back.

I have been getting my nails done regularly for a long time and have been searching for the right salon because I was never feeling like I was leaving with what I asked or I felt super rushed. JY nails was the most amazing experience! They took their time, were incredibly friendly and so very talented. My daughter and her friend got cute designs on their tiny nails and they spent so much time getting them absolutely perfect for them! So happy to have found this salon!

I just went for the first time after going to multiple salons around and I can say that this is the best salon in fonthill hands down! The shape was amazing, and the design was GORGEOUS!! Julie and Yen did my nails and they did amazing, the experience was great and professional. I am extremely satisfied, I will definitely be coming back, everyone is so friendly!
