Level Up Group recently constructed a legal basement apartment in my house. From start to finish, my experience with Level Up was nothing short of exceptional.Michael and his team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail throughout the entire process. The work involved creating an exterior entrance, completing architecture drawings, interior design consultations, and the construction of a two bedroom basement apartment. Each step of the way, Michael kept me informed and provided valuable input to ensure that the project was completed to my satisfaction.The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and the finished basement apartment exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project, from the layout to the finishes.One thing that stood out to me about Level Up was their commitment to customer satisfaction and organization. We are very satisfied with the work provided by Level up group consulting. They were very professional. The schedule provided was strictly followed for the most part.The workers were all skilled and experts on the field. We liked that they have an in-house designer who worked with us and put our ideas to life. Michael was very easy to deal with. Overall, the entire process was seamless. After interviewing 6-7 different contractors, we decided to go ahead with Michael of Levelup Group. The best decision we made. We wanted to do a legal 2 bedroom basement apartment. From city drawings, permits, design centre material selection to all the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, floor installation, framing, drywall etc. everything was done to perfection. We are so happy with our basement, the finishings are amazing. We had 6-7 applicants lined up within a week wanting to rent it. Michael’s entire team was very professional and on time.

Michael, Ashley and team are amazing to work with! Professional, on time always customer service friendly and mindful. We just had our old and dated basement demo amd redone and all I can say is wow! We just had our basement completely renovated with Level Up Group Consulting Inc. We had seen the sign for this company on someone else's lawn in the neighbourhood, and decided to give them a call, as we were interested in having our basement renovated.From the first moment of contact with Michael, we were impressed with his vast knowledge of renovations. Throughout the process, Michael was approachable and friendly, asking us how the renovations were going, and if we were happy with the work so far. He also came over whenever there was an issue, showing genuine concern for the work at hand.There were a variety of workers that came through to complete various jobs; from painting, to plumbing, to electrical work. Everyone that came through was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We felt confident leaving the renovations in their hands, as they definitely knew what they were doing.When it came to designing the layout of the basement, we met with Ashley, who guided us through every step, giving us options to pick-out cabinets, countertops, wall colours, flooring styles, etc. She knew what she was talking about, giving us suggestions on what would look best, and how to design certain aspects of the basement. Her helpful nature made picking designs easier; it was actually fun!Once the project was complete, we were impressed with the final result. We could have never imagined how beautiful our basement could look, such a difference from what we had before! We couldn't be happier, and are glad that we put our money into getting our basement renovated. Michael and the Level Up Team did a basement renovation for me and the experience was great. From the first phone call and site meeting, Michael took the time to explain the entire process from demolition to final completion and clean up.At he design stage, Ashley provided guidance in bringing your ideas to reality, very patient and always replied to emails. We already had a basement design approved by the city and needed a contractor to make our design come to life. We took our time and had done lots of research, engaged with many contractors and received many quotes. We wanted to be sure that the job was going to get done right. After meeting with Michael we felt assured that he was going to get the job done right and on time and that’s exactly what him and his team did! From the beginning Michael was able to answer all of our questions and was very transparent on telling us what to expect. He provided us with a timeline for the project and we knew every step of the way what to expect next and who was coming on what day. Michael and his team were very respectful, friendly, professional and easy to get in contact with. He made many on site visits throughout the project to make sure everything was going as planned. Ashley, his designer was a pleasure to work with too. Although we had our design already, Michael still sent Ashley over to make sure all the measurements were correct and everything would go as planned. She was very helpful in selecting our finishes. Whenever we brought something to Michael or Ashley’s attention or wanted to make adjustments they were always very patient with us and found a solution to make us happy.Michael and his crew made our basement dreams come true. We cannot say enough positive things about Level Up Renovations!!! We have undergone several renovations in the past (with different companies/contractors) and have never had such a seamless, pleasant and stress-free experience from start to finish!From our first consultation meeting with Michael (the owner), we felt we could trust him. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and we could tell fairly quickly that doing this job was his passion. This all held true for the entire reno process! We needed to make our unfinished basement into a living space for my mom (one bedroom, a 4-piece bathroom, a kitchen and convert our crawl space into a finished storage area). Michael gave us tips, advice and suggestions that were clever and innovative. Cost wise, Level Up definitely wasn't the cheapest but also wasn't the most expensive. Everything was reasonably priced - by the end of the project, we felt that the price was justified based on the excellent quality of the work, the rare stress-free reno experience and the efficiency of the company in dealing with any small or large issues that inevitably always occur with any major reno such as this one. Michael always went out of his way to make us happy, no matter how strange our requests were or how it inconvenienced him.Once we signed with Level Up, we met with their lovely designer, Ashley and picked out finishings in a showroom. It was a completely seamless process! She even sent us 3D renderings of what our space would look like with the finishes we selected. Very professional!The project started the first week of January 2023. We were always given the schedule a week or so in advance so we could keep track of what work was to be completed that week; they were quite punctual too! And garbage was taken out regularly as needed. Avtar was assigned as our supervisor for the project (although Michael was still heavily involved throughout). Avtar was quick and efficient anytime we had questions or concerns. EVERY SINGLE tradesperson that worked on our project was extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable, had incredible craftsmanship, and was beyond patient with us when we were being indescisive!!!! I can't emphasize enough how important this was in making this reno as stress-free as possible! We also noticed how clean everyone was! Everything was covered at the start of the project (stairs, hallway, carpets, entryways, etc) and everything was tidied up at the end of each day. Our main floor powder room was used respectfully (we've had many tradespeople in the past who have used our bathrooms in our home as if they're public toilets). Additionally, everyone was very accommodating to us because we have a preschool aged daughter and were living at home throughout the renos (i.e. loud equipment was not used after her bedtime, etc). We were very impressed with who Michael had selected to work at Level Up! Each employee truly reflects the values of Level Up.The project wrapped up the last week of February 2023, being only 1 week delayed (also quite impressive!) from when Michael had originally given us a quote and estimated timeline. The delay was due to a kitchen cabinet installation error (we want to clarify that this was caused by some miscommunication in the location of the cabinets and NOT due to poor craftsmanship) for which Michael immediately took full responsibility and resolved the issue with lightening speed while simultaneously never compromising on the quality of workmanship!!!Overall, although we had hiccups in this project as one would expect with any major reno, it was the professionalism and timeliness in which the issues were taken care of that really sets this company apart!!! This is hands-down the company you'll want to trust with your reno needs!!!

Michael , Ashley and the entire crew at level up basements completed my basement on time, on budget while exceeding expectations all through the project!My project involved everything that is required in finishing an unfinished basement starting with crack injection/sealing, framing, insulation, drywalling, sanding, flooring, painting, to post construction cleaning. I was expecting this project to be a very stressful period but it was completely opposite. I looked forward to the progress that was being made at a breakneck speed and like clockwork everything came together thanks to the careful planning from Michael.Michael was always available to take my questions and make changes as required so as to not clash with a few other minor projects that were going on around my house. Ashley, their designer, was also very patient in finalizing the design and helping us select the material from the showroom that has an extensive selection of material. I really appreciate the patience the team showed when we were having difficulties concluding on the path forward on some parts of the project. They explained the project plan clearly, answered my questions and concerns with care and attention (sometimes more than once!), offered valuable suggestions and guidance on decisions I was uncertain on, and kept me informed with all that was going well and also on things that did not go per plan which is quite normal with such a project.My basement looks really incredible and the whole experience makes me enjoy the space even better! Thank you Michael and your team for getting this basement done better than your promise including being ahead of schedule.
