Having a problem with my bike i live hours away but he returned my call and walked me through a step by step list of things to try rather than me just throwing more money at it. Have dealt with many places over the last week and no one wanted to even give the time of day. Wish i was closer definitely the man i would want to be hands on with my bike. And when it is running right i will be making the trip to buy you that coffee sir thank you

John is the man when it comes to older Japanese bikes. He's been in business forever. Got an older bike that needs parts or repair? Go see him. he's only open Fridays and Saturdays for two reasons 1) He can 2) He is eccentric. Bring him a coffee when you go black no sugar or else you may get cranky John. he's a great man!

In June 2020 - John from The Bike Yard in Orangeville didn't have the part I was looking for, so he called John from Bent Bikes and he had the part!Between the 2 Johns, I was able to get the part I needed, and the price was less than half of what I found on eBay! I ended up staying for almost an hour chatting with him and his friend...this is a hidden treasure!
