Denman Island General Store
The store keepers are very polite and attentive. The selection of goods is also impressive. You can buy postage stamps, beer, liquor, coolers, pizza, candy, gum, sandwiches and sausage rolls here. Also gasoline and soft drinks, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned foods, dried foods galore. Such friendly people here.

Everyone is very polite in the store. The food choices are quite good and varied. It is the centre of the island's life by the looks of it and the staff knew each customer by name. The post office has a good selection of padded envelopes.

Every community that wants to be a real community needs this kind of store. It will never compete with Costco; so don't go here if you're expecting a sterile plastic wrapped temple of cheap consumerism. But maybe you're looking for a warm, friendly atmosphere where they charge reasonable prices for a remarkably wide range of products? This is the place. Looking for the kind of quirkiness that makes Denman Island, Denman Island? This is the epicentre.

I love how it hasn’t changed except the diner isn’t there anymore , I remember being a kid and they had the best chicken burgers , i love how everything is still pretty much original since I can remember it ! Friendly customer service! Please don’t ever change !
