Skate Toronto - Learn to Skate and Figure Skating Lessons

They are such scammers! The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I registered my daughter for lessons to start Jan 2022. I received an email in early Jan 2022 regarding cancellation due to COVID, which is understandable. Emailed them end of Jan 2022 for updates and didn't hear back at all. I have to email them again in late Feb 2022, again no response. I emailed them again in early March, twice actually nothing again. I finally receive an email last week stating that they sent out emails 3 weeks ago and that classes have resumed. I certainly didn't receive any emails because if I did I wouldn't keep following up. I asked for a full refund as my daughter never attended any of their lessons and they won't issue it. I have reached out multiple times and heard nothing. I should not be penalized for their lack of communications and abysmal customer service.They don't even have a phone number for you to call! And their website is not secure meaning if you make a payment you can be hacked! I highly suggest signing your kids somewhere else.

My children loved this place and the teacher was very patient! They always had smiles when leaving the rink and always looked forward to their next session. 10/10 would register again!

We took our kids there for skating lessons last winter. It’s a small artificial skating rink so don’t be surprised when you see that. But it’s warm inside and perfect for kids learning to skate. I give the 5 starts because the coach we had was very nice. Overall I think it’s worth it.

Awesome coaching staff. Shannon helped my kid to get confidence. I was surprised with this idea of learning to skate on this alternative to ice. I feel safer actually with my kid learning here. Thank you to all the staff and coaches.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but my experience with SkateTorotnto really stuck with me. I first heard about this rink from a neighbor a couple of years ago, and I finally decided to sign up my 8-year-olds for lessons early this year. They loved it; it’s easy to say we’ll be signing up for classes again next year.Overall, my experience with SkateToronto easily beats out some of the other companies I’ve tried. The instructors were friendly, professional, and patient. They taught my kids the basics of skating quickly and safely. I highly recommend this company to any parent who wants to teach their kids basic and advanced figure and regular skating skills.

Instructors were lovely and my two 7 year-olds loved it!!

Took my 8 year old here, it was a great experience. The staff really helped him to learn how to skate. It was so cute to see him gliding along.

Teacher(s) are good, she (Shannon and once there were substitute teacher, didn't catch her name) are quite attentive to kids and makes sure that they learn new things thoroughly. She encourages them and organizes fun game at the end to keep it all entertaining for kids, and there are very good atmosphere, where mistakes are not judged on, and so on.Their website SUCKS! Management talks to you like you owe them something. Like come on, if I am paying you, you should at least try to behave like an adult, and not as frustrated edgy teenager.

I think that this is a good place for beginner skaters. The registration process online is pretty straight forward and everything that you need to know is there. Don't go there in person to register or for information as it is only open for classes. But if you are registered then they will correspond with you via e-mail. Just set the right expectations and your experience will be a good one.
