Joke of a company. Booked an appointment, took time off work. They didn't show up. Got a text that day after the appointment stating the tech was to busy with other jobs. Got a call from the company the next day stating the tech had a family emergency and hung up on us after explaining the texts we received. Do not book with these people.

**Update**: I have emailed them 7 times for a refund because the issue they said that was wrong with my washer was not the problem. I had another company come in and fix it. Don’t use this company. The manager email they leave you with is a scam. I’m going through the Better Business Bureau and visa to get a refund.I would not recommend this company as they did not fix the problem with my washing machine after charging me and then having to come back the next day. There still is no solution. When you call them they just say they’ll contact the tech. There’s been no answer from the manager email they provide when you call them. Super disappointed.

THIS BUSINESS IS NOT LEGIT - IT IS A SCAM - DO NOT USE THEMI called Appliance Repair Expert to look at a washer, they said it will be a $99 service call fee for someone to come out and they'll provide a quote to repair, if you choose to proceed with the repair they'll waive the service call fee.A tech showed up a week later named Vitaliy Muradov who looked at it for all of 1 minute and told me it would be about $800 - 900 to fix. I asked if he could provide a quote and he became rude saying we don't do quotes and I have to collect payment for the service call from you now". I asked him to provide a quote first and I'll call him back to let him know. He became angry and left.He did not provide a quote and proceeded to spam my phone for 2 days straight with dozens of texts a day from an automated text system requesting payment as well as from his personal phone. He also sent texts late at night saying he was on the way to my house. I ended up paying the feed which was $115 (not $99) just to get him off my back. He still proceeded to text me non-stop through the automated systems saying he's going to show up to my house the next day. I eventually had to call the police."

It is my firm belief that the company prioritizes monetary gain over genuine efforts to repair customers' broken appliances.To provide some context, I encountered an issue with my LG front load washer, which displayed an LE error code. Seeking professional assistance, I contacted Appliance Repair Expert, and they promptly dispatched a technician to diagnose and resolve the problem. However, my encounter with their technician only exacerbated my frustrations.Upon inspection, the technician declared that the washer's computer board was broken and proceeded to charge me a staggering $350 for the replacement. Shockingly, the technician failed to rectify the issue and insisted that the washer be discarded, claiming it to be the worst-case scenario he had ever encountered. This left me disheartened and questioning the competence of the service provided. The washer is only 3 years old.In an attempt to seek further clarification and a potential resolution, I decided to contact LG directly. To my surprise, when an LG representative arrived at my residence, they swiftly diagnosed the problem as a stator connector issue—completely unrelated to the previously mentioned computer board. Within less than an hour, LG efficiently resolved the problem, leaving me astonished by the stark contrast in service quality.Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise against employing the services of Appliance Repair Expert for appliance repairs. The technicians they employ appear to lack the necessary competence and expertise to address simple and complex issues effectively. It is evident that their primary objective is to extract monetary gain from unsuspecting customers, rather than genuinely endeavoring to fix and restore malfunctioning appliances.I sincerely hope that my account of this distressing encounter serves as a cautionary tale to potential customers seeking reliable and trustworthy appliance repair services. FRAUD ALERT -May 29th I had Alex out to diagnose my Miele dishwasher. I paid $180.00 for this and for the part. It is July 3rd and they said they have no information and will get back to me. I have called 6 times to ask when I can expect a Alex to come repair my dishwasher and it is the same answer every time. I will get back to you and never does. The last time he yelled at me and asked me if I was simple. He said he didn’t even know what I was going on about as I only paid $180.00. Be better Appliance Repair. Be better!

The technician installed a new washer and removed the old one. A very professional service. He listened to what I wanted and provided excellent service at a time arranged to suit me . I would definitely recommend and will use it again if I need to.

FRAUD ALERT- APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERT - DO NOT HIRE. Absolute worst experience ever with a service provider. Charged $500+ for dishwasher repair and did not fix the problem. When called for repair warranty the tech no showed 3 times. Finally arrived and did not repair dishwasher and sabotaged appliance further by pulling wiring harness out of control panel and left. Zero support from company’s service/management/customer service departments despite repeated attempts to contact with detailed notes, event timeline, and 3rd party assessment of damage after final visit. Had to buy a new dishwasher and still out the initial repair bill of $500+. If you have hired this company and you have been defrauded then challenge the transaction on your credit card. Do not be fooled by any response left to this review, zero responses have been made to multiple attempts to contact this company. Look through all the negative reviews here, they are all similar. DO NOT HIRE APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERT!

We booked Appliance Repair Expert to fix our dishwasher. Unfortunately we had a to cancel as we were not available when they had slots available to visit our property. We gave sufficient notice of the cancellation, as requested by Appliance Repair Expert. No problem, we thought....However, approximately 45 days later a debt collector was in contact with us regarding an unpaid invoice. This invoice was never issued as no work was done. I have been trying to contact management for over a week and have had no response to both phone calls and emails.The staff I have managed to speak to have been unprofessional and obstructive when trying to deal with this issue.Would not recommend this company based on our experience.Update March 02 - after multiple emails and attempts to get in touch with this company over the phone I have had no response. Given this and the standard nature of this response to mine and multiple other reviews here, if you so have issues with Appliance Repair Expert, good luck getting anywhere!

Paid for initial diagnostic of a problem with our fridge and was supposed to be contacted about parts only to never hear from technician again despite numerous attempts on my part to contact him. Found a competent repairman who repaired it, and it was not the problem identified by Appliance “Expert”. Would give zero stars if possible

We used this company to fix our fridge. Service tech came out was nice and polite, barely spoke English. He ordered a part for our fridge, which we had to wait 4 weeks for. Part finally shows up, guess what? Wrong part! So we had to pay $100 for the service call, which I'm fine with. But because the part was wrong, we only got $100 back on our $150 deposit on the part. Which I don't think is fair because this company ordered it on our behalf. So I had to wait 4 weeks to find out the part was wrong, and pay $50 out of pocket because they ordered it wrong???? When we emailed the company about getting our deposit back, we didn't get one reply, even after 3 emails! Not very professional at all! I wouldn't use these guys again and will definitely not be recommending them to anyone either.
