A.S.A.P CARPET INSTALLATION

My first impression of the owner Tony Pesta and his operation was not great but unfortunately I gave him the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy time of the year. We agreed on the price to install carpet I bought and he gave me a date to install about 1 week out and he said it will be a 2-day job. He showed up the day of the install and within less than an hour of arriving he got a call from what seems like a more lucrative job. After the call he started asking persistently for full payment of my 2-day job that he barely started. I politely told him that I will pay at the end of the job or I could pay him half at the end of the first day. Ten minutes later he made up excuses and left with his helper for what seemed like the more lucrative job he got a call about.Obviously I feel that Tony the owner is very unprofessional and runs a shady operation that cannot be trusted. Needless to say I would not do business with him nor allow him into my home.Note: In researching this operation it turned out the only review posted on ASAP Carpet Installation is by his wife, Sharon Pesta!! That tells you all you need to know.
