Young Minds Montessori

Hello,I have had my twin boys enrolled in Young Mind Montessori ones they turned 18 months, and it’s been amazing, they are now 3 and half.Starting from the education they get to all the fun they have, it’s definitely helped and boosted their language skills.I have found the whole team very Professional, as well as very welcoming since their first day.The boys always have amazing stories to tell me on how their days are filled with fun and mini adventures, and most important the kids have a full day enrolment in a very clean and neat environment.

Our daughter has been at Young Minds for over three months now and we’re so happy to have found them. Ms. Shanaz and Ms. Mary are wonderful teachers- they’re warm, inviting, patient, and kind. We feel comfortable leaving our daughter in their safe hands.The school is clean, bright, and well taken care of. The kids get a variety of yummy snacks and meals which are prepared/cooked on site. And they do all sorts of activities- music class, arts and crafts, experiments, outdoor and free play, circle time.. all things that help a child expand and explore their world. Highly recommend!

Two of my children are enrolled in this school. For my eldest, who will be graduating from Kindergarten this year, this is the only school he has ever known. I have seen him grow and blossom from a shy little guy into a confident child who surprises us often with all that he knows from what he has learned at school. The love and care and attention all of the staff have shown him is something we value immensely, as is the trust we have with them including the school owner and the school supervisor. Through conflict resolution and working through issues or concerns, the partnership has been great. This school is and was a wonderful fit for my son and we couldn't be happier with the years he spent here. It is bittersweet for him to go off into Grade 1 and move on, because we truly appreciate this place so much. We look forward for our youngest to have equally fruitful years there.Young Minds is a little school with a big heart and much to offer (including with an excellent chef who prepares nutritious meals and snacks for the kids). Truly a gem of a place where all the staff show compassion and kindness for the kids and always put their welfare first. I would recommend this school with no hesitation.

Our first child was with Young Minds from age 3 to 6. We were so happy with the program that we kept him in for JK and SK. The results speak for themselves. Our child has excelled in reading, writing and math and has a love of learning. We were so happy with Young Minds that our second child is now with them. I cannot recommend Young Minds strongly enough! The teachers are amazing and our kids love it there.

NEW PARENTS, PLEASE READ.It has taken me a lot of energy and time to sit and write this review, but I think it's an important one for prospective parents as you consider Young Minds as an option for your child. We also wanted to make sure that enough time has passed and we are judging this appropriately.Based on the rating, you can tell that our experience with the school was not great. Our son went to Casa 1 for a while, where the teacher (Ms. Olivia) had so much love for the kids and was kind and loving. The program was a bit more flexible too and the focus was on the kids being happy. This part was good.After our son was moved to Casa 2, everything changed. The program was rigid and very strict on rules. I think they take the Montessori program way too seriously and enforce the rules military style. They don't care if kids respond to the rules differently, everyone must fall in line, or else live the punishment. The program is based on the kids doing work" (tasks) for them to be allowed to play

My son has been at Young Minds since he was 18 months. Our experience with the school has been beyond wonderful. The staff and teachers are kind and caring. The facilities are pristine and maintained well. The food that is served is nutritious and healthy. My son adjusted really well and loved going to school. His energy was channeled positively and he came home with lots of stories to share. I could drop him off everyday, happy in the knowledge that the environment Toni, Carolyn and team created was best in class. I would highly recommend Young Minds Montessori.

Young Minds has provided more than we could have asked for our daughter's first school experience. It will be difficult to put into words how thankful we are and how highly we recommend this school.The teachers go above and beyond to care for our child. They really see each child as an individual and build on their strengths and encourage growth. They are the perfect balance between consistent and caring and I know without a doubt that my child has always been cared for and appreciated for who she is. Samantha, especially, has been a gift to our daughter as she has been the biggest cheerleader for our daughter to grow and flourish. It's such a nice feeling to know that when we drop off our daughter at school she will be loved and have fun. What more could we ask for?The program itself is excellent. The facility is always clean, the Montessori toys are abundant and the days are filled with wonderful excursions and hands on experiences that our daughter loved. In such a short time academically, she has exceeded our expectations and we know that she will be more than prepared for big school".Most importantly

My daughter has been attending Young Minds since opening after the pandemic and she just loves this place, it has been a wonderful experience not only for her, but also for the whole family, she looks forward to see her friends and teachers everyday. She LOVES Ms. Shanaz (Ms. Naz) and so do we, she is patient, loving and caring and always provide us with feedback at the end of each day, we can tell she knows our little one. All the staff is friendly, the other teachers, kitchen and office staff, they treat us like family. Toni, the owner, is a wonderful human being, she has been kind enough to receive our son for March Break and Summer Camps even though he attends regular school and has ASD, they've been able to accommodate to provide him with the assistance he needs as well as accommodating dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free). We are so grateful we found this place, we highly recommend it!

Having had at least one child enrolled at the school since 2015, we have had nothing but a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and truly cares about each child's development, nutrition, safety and overall well-being. Having volunteered on numerous school trips or playing Santa at the annual Christmas concert, Young Minds Montessori and their staff have truly become a part of our family.

My son has been attending Young Minds since he was 16 months, and he absolutely loves going to school. It was the best choice I made for him and me as he was so young and impressionable. These foundation years are so important and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. He’s inquisitive, curious and loves to learn. Young Minds is everything you would want for your children. The teachers are conscientious and understanding. They are approachable and communicative and have kept me well informed from day one. The transition to being at home with me to attending the school at such a young age was made so much easier than I had anticipated and they calmed my anxious nature. They are adaptable and take into consideration your parenting style and needs. Issues with food/medical are handled and comfort is first and foremost. The staff and teachers are nothing short of exceptional. My son is thriving and more importantly he’s happy. He has developed into a confident, independent, respectful young boy. I give this credit to Young Minds who have been instrumental in his development. Through their teachings, individual attention, and dedication to each and every student they won’t disappoint. The staff clearly does what they do and they’re good at it! I’m happy to recommend and encourage any parent looking for a great foundation from an early start to visit and request a tour.
