Loved their salad a lot but the agedashi tofu was disappointing. The broth didn't have a very fresh flavour profile that I usually expect so wouldn't reorder nor recommend.Overall, it's priced on the higher end, but their portions are reflective of the price tag so no complaints. I would come back to try other dishes.

This place is a hidden treasure. Authentic Japanese cuisine and fun decor. The service was wonderful, granted we were the only ones there at the time it just felt like the server and the chef genuinely appreciated the patronage. Food was extremely reasonably priced, good portion sizes and delicious. If I lived in Montreal I'd be dining here regularly.

The restaurant is beautiful. The owner makes you feel very welcome. We ordered the sweet potato fries to have a change and it was the best decision!! The fries together with the sauce makes the best combination I’ve ever tried.We also tried the veg poke bowl and the udon seafood and both of them had amazing flavor. The veg poke bowl is a must if you are looking for something light but also flavorful.We tried multiple restaurants while we were in Montreal and this one was the best in food and service! Definitely will go back to visit

Delicious food! I had japanese mapo tofu, it was served with rice, in the mapo tofu was caramelized onions, an egg, and there’s also beef mixed in as well! My friend got the pork katsu udon soup and she liked it as well! Service was great, super friendly, super cute decor, great atmosphere. Truly a hidden gem! Will be coming back for more!

I can’t believe I’ve lived right next to this restaurant for 13 months and just tried it for the first time. All I can say is I’ve been missing out! I highly recommend the tofu, sweet potato fries & chicken Gyoza. The chicken karaage was a bit too greasy for me personally, but I loved the rest.

Firstly, this place is a true GEM!!!We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally got to try it out recently.There is a cute patio with lights at the entrance, the interior decoration is super cute and relaxing. Everything from the table down to the water glass is super clean.The girl working at the front who served us was welcoming and attentive from beginning to end. Even though we were quite a few dining in, around 6 tables on a Monday evening, she still managed to serve everyone in a perfect manner, water, cutlery.As for entrees, we ordered✅Yatai-Ika, grilled calamry,✅Cari Panko-chicken✅fried rice chillax beef and cheeseAll of the dishes had very unique flavors, and thought put into.Overall super satisfied with our experience at CHILLAX.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants fresh, great tasting Japanese food. Can’t wait to come back and try out new dishes!

I had the Miso Soup, Salmon and Tuna poke bowl and Green tea Cheesecake.Food was very good. Miso Soup didn't have anything that made it stand out from others but none the less it was good.The Salmon and Tuna poke bowl was very good. Everything tasted fresh.The Green tea Cheesecake cake... BLEW me away. Wow that was amazing. I do not like sweets but I really like Green tea and I've never seen it before so I figures why not?Absolutely recommend it!I wish they had alittle bigger menu. That's my only complaint""

Was in the mood for some fried goodness and Chillax did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken karaage, tempura shrimp and gyudon with hard fried egg (for the kids ;). The restaurant boxed up the delivery well and everything was still hot, crispy and tasty when it arrived. Thank you!

Ordered the Japanese salad and karaage chicken (not pictured), both of which looked vibrant but could use more flavour. The veggie poke looked great with fried sweet potato and pumpkin, and was topped with the same mayo dressing as the salad. The unagi don was with fried egg was decent, it could've used more unagi and sauce. Service was friendly.
