Sunny Side Climbing Walls
The best spring/fall rock climbing destination in Nanaimo. Generally too hot here to climb in the summer though. Over 50 routes in the 5.6-5.12 range. Mostly sport with a few trad lines here and there. The approach is only 5 minutes. The rock is conglomerate, so established climbs are solid but newer ones may still shed a pebble or two.
