BELFOR Property Restoration

I called Belfor after a water leak in my basement and they were at the house within 30 min of my call. They took up the old flooring and saved everything from damage other than the carpet. Their team was professional and courteous. My new floors are amazing and it pretty much went off without a hitch. I was very impressed and thankful as this was just before Christmas and could have been a nightmare.

We recently had a leak in our kitchen which was unfortunate, but fortunately we had Belfor on the job. Cam is a skilled manager and true to his word made sure we had a functioning kitchen whenever possible. The whole team was awesome. Al made sure any rot issues were dealt with then Sarah Jamie and Jason came in and did a professional and efficient job of packing and moving everything for the floor guys. Al then came back and did a brilliant job with the trim followed by Travis who took care of the finishing. True pro's that did it all with smiles on their faces. Lorelie and Paul, Parksville.

Peter was very helpful, I had an emergency with a client who had a basement leak, he was at the site within 15 minutes of talking to him on a Sunday morning. They also did a great job at our home repairing damage from a broken plumbing pipe last year.

It started with Peter Lindkvist who showed up with my insurance adjuster Sher Holubowich from Coast claims to do an assessment of damage from a toilet that leaked. I was impressed by both of these individuals. They were friendly, professional and thorough and explained what needed to be done and why. They answered all my questions and the work began quickly. Peter was the project manager and some of the folks involved that worked for Belfor, without solicitation said that I was lucky to get Peter and that he was very good. He was fabulous. He kept in contact and let me know what has happening and when. (Unfortunately for some reason a few of his checking up emails went to my junk file so I didn’t see them right away)I met Jamie, Jason and Michelle, all of whom were professional, efficient and had good humour. These are hard working people that pay attention to detail. They were amazing. So nice to see these capable, competent women and men in action. They went over and above any expectations I had.I live in a condo and the hallway and entrance to the building was also respected and kept clean.Thank you so much for taking care of an unpleasant situation (caused by a leak) in such an efficient way.I don’t know how much these folks get paid but I bet they are worth more. I told Peter that if I wasn’t retired I would have been trying to recruit them to work for me.I know that good, hardworking, honest people are gold.Thank you to everyone involved. XXXDawna

The workers of this company are amazing, and when on-site they did great work. The overall planning and overpromising was terrible. We used them after a major windstorm, and although they were busy- they continually would half-start projects and leave them for weeks. On multiple occasions our belongings where literally left in the rain for weeks on end- even after multiple calls/emails. I assume most restoration companies get really busy at times like this, but can only hope that they are more honest than Belfor.

We were broken into. Someone kicked down my front door & stole all my jewelry. They arrived shorty after the police left & boarded up the front door and cleaned up the mess. They were professional and courteous. My daughter and I were pretty shook up but they assured us things would be dealt with as fast as possible. And it was. We had to order a custom door, which took some time at no fault of theirs. As soon as it came in, they installed it and cleaned up again. Great job! I would suggest Belfor to anyone!

Belfor did an amazing job of our flooring repair in our home and we cant say enough about all their Staff and Reps that visited our home and that we spoke to on the phone. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Belfor was hired to clean a crime scene for two of my friends. All the staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. Even during holidays, they are very quick to get the job done properly. I highly recommend them for any restoration project.

Big thank you to BELFOR who came on time after the big flood in November 2021. They cleaned up the unit and did a full repair. A special thank you to Peter the project manager who kept us in the loop, updated on timelines every step, very responsive. Belfor was very clear with all the details, material and work that needs to be done and despite supply chain delays they finished on time so our tenant was able to come back. Thank you!

My insurance company was using Belfor for the purposes of doing restoration of our basement when we had a sewer backup. Belfor has been consistently non-communicative and non-responsive when it has come to quotes or scheduling repairs. We are organizing to use an altogether different restoration company after four months of dragged heels. It has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I do not recommend!
