TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Opened an Estate account for my deceased mother on Feb. 15, 2023. Was told I would receive a call from TD for further communication and the funds would be accessible on Feb. 24, 2023. I received no communication even after submitting my mother's will. At the time I was promised a call as follow up. I received no communication from Feb. 25 to March 17. I have a landline with an answering service and a cell phone with voice mail....no message was attempted. I called several people on March 22 including the bank manager, AG. and MS. who opened the estate account on Feb. 15. Left voice messages to each to call me. No response until after the final call I made on March 23 at 11:45 am. and made my dissatisfaction clear to the person who answered the phone.... and asked to speak to Amanda. Was told AG. would phone me....I had my doubts. Finally at 3:00 pm on March 23 AG called me saying I could not access the money from my mother's estate account as her will stated myself and my sister as beneficiaries. After many confusing statements from AG. she finally said that if my sister came to the branch to sign a document, then the funds would be released to us.All of this could have been resolved on Feb. 25 if AG. had requested my sister's signature at this time. I am taking my sister for document signing tomorrow March 23 at 2 pm. Will see if AG. has her act together this time.I have concerns about how this TD branch is operating. My confidence in dealing with this branch is very low. I trust my concerns will be addressed promptly.Respectfully submitted,Peggy Murphy

What a great bank and great customer service. They are always there to help and their level of knowledge is amazing. Ryan, Rajinder, Roz are super nice and always go out of their way to come and say hi and see how we are doing and how they can help. The bank is super clean, organized and the staff are super friendly and always there to help.

The workers here are defensive and always right. Opened an account (closed it and currently with RBC now) for funds to be deposited into, specifically for payroll. Did not issue a debit card/cheques because its “deposit only”. Did it not come into the mind what the purpose is with having an account that you cannot move the money? Even getting into a TFSA account is easier at this point! At the end of it all when closing it, they expected us to insert a TD card - they had just stated that it was deposit only and not authorized to have a card/cheques??? A joke. We do appreciate them waiving the account fee.

Second time posting about this branch. Wanted to get a bank draft after a disappointing experience in trying to open investing account at the branch. I was advised that they don't have bank drafts and I can go to another branch for the draft. Tried to engage with customer support based on my previous review and that was even more frustrating experience. The management of the bank should take a hard look at their customer experience.Third of March 2023 made the mistake of going to this branch again, what an obnoxious bunch of ppl. Closing all my accounts with this bank

I love TD as a bank but this particular branch doesn't fit the high standards I've seen elsewhere. Took my sister to open a new account with her partner, they offered them the new to Canada package but never mentioned the credit card. We went back and scheduled a meeting for 2 PM on a Friday, all set. Couple hours later a guy calls me asking if we can reschedule for 4PM by phone. We said ok. Waited 30 minutes, called the branch... no show! It's been a full week now and no one ever called back to apologize or reschedule. If you value you customers, you definitely need to address this kind of issues

Received a new mortgage through this TD and dealt with Jason. This was not a good experience. We sent documents over a month prior to possession and didn’t have confirmation of a mortgage until approximately a week prior. We followed up many times and asked for many updates and many times did not get a direct answer. He asked something from our realtor that she’s never been asked for in 11 years. Now, after having possession, we apparently need to pay for something that was never disclosed to us. Do not deal with Jason, it’ll make you more stressed than excited. TD needs to fix this issue.

I just stopped in here to take out foreign currency. Ryan was my customer service agent. I've never had such speedy, professional, and friendly service at a bank before. Highly recommend this branch, based on this one experience.

The staff on counter is not very skilled or knowledgeable, most are friendly but came across one who was kinda rude. She gave me strange explanation and information about a transaction I was trying to conduct. I think the senior management of the bank just throws people out to the frontline without appropriately providing them with training and necessary skill set

Absolutely pathetic management. Closed early on April 12th due to covid. Closed all day April 13th due to snowstorm"

Not branch specific. But imagine being a modern bank and you only allow physical paycheques to be deposited in full via the teller, which in most cases there's only one. We HaVe MoBiLe DePoSiT" yeah I like getting $600 on deposit and the rest after literally 2 weeks when I get paid again. Innovative modern banking at its finest
