- Quick service (No wait time a little late afternoon).- Located in the heart of downtown catering East and West sides.- Neat and tidy location.- Staff was quite friendly today. I'd have liked someone to be present at the front desk though. Like, be present all the time to greet customers.

Liars!We went there to close our professional line of credit which is registered in Saskatchewan (as we have now moved). Initially they refused and after several discussions they agreed. The small business advisor came and acted as he knew everything and helped. Contacted our branch in saskatoon and promised it would be closed and a closure letter be mailed. Two weeks fast forward. I think the moment we left the bank he deleted or shredded our request. Absolutely useless. Just glad we have closed most of our stuff with Scotia. Fortunately our communication was recorded in their system as saskatoon branch initially refused to help ignoring we ever visited the Rideau branch.Advise for you: Be courteous, don’t pretend to help, and overall be honest and have some integrity.

Worst customer service of any Scotiabank I've been to. Never wait less than 30mins in lineup, because despite there being 4-5 behind the counter, there's never more than 2-3 actually staffing it. Meanwhile you have to watch 2-3 more lazy staff in the little glass office next to the tellers chit-chat, and spin around on their chairs while you watch the clock and wonder, This is a bank?! What the hell is going on in this place?""

The advisor I met with was rude and just seemed very unprofessional. He just seemed to judge me more then actually helping me with my current financial situation. Overall, I don’t recommend Scotiabank or this location when it comes to meeting with someone and day to day banking.

Very helpful as a new international arrival. Set up account and got cards ready to use all in one visit thanks to the Irish lady on the front desk. Excellent service. Very happy. Visit date Dec 2022.

I came here to open a account and they refused me for not knowing which account I had in the past with them loooool. The guy name is Oussama Memmi I feel he was being racist to me because I am a different skin colour the reviews here speak for this disgusting place.

The worst experience trying to open a chequeing account. 800 number service has been spectacular but the backwards system and process in getting clear updates is out of whack.Waiting to hear from the branch to collect my debit card. It's been over 5 business days and the main service centre can't help me any further...Not to mention the unaccessible business hours when you're required to go in person to collect the card.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars. Rude, mismanaged, incompetent are just some of the adjectives I'd use to describe staff and management here.
