Some nice stairs and paved paths but also a lot of garbage, drug paraphernalia, and people using the river to bathe. Shame as the river and little waterfalls are quite pretty.

The gardens are a great place for relaxing and enjoyment please watch out for any new bulbs roots and really be sparse here to help conservatory efforts

Due to the heavy rains the river was very high and fast. A beautiful place to walk.Wish I had a better camera with me, but for an overcast cold morning was still Amazing!!!

Neat little waterfalls. Doesn't smell great. Worth seeing but maybe not for a picnic

A place I'm so familiar with it feels so much like Home!!!It's probably the nicest park in the city of Nanaimo, it's a nature park not a park with kids attractions. The beautiful mill stream river runs through it with a abundance of blackberrys and quiet moments for thought, and relaxation!!!

Being Fall there are too many leaves on the Parks walkways n trails. Real out back bush times. Trails worn into the grass n all over off the beaten path. I don't feel so safe walking this Park really just was curious to visit this once favorite teenage hang out. A tent is close to the streams bank. People that go by don't even smile n seem to look down on me.... Hmmm.

Such a beautiful park. I just moved in down the street but am scared to go down there. I am always seeing a new tent or camp". Seeing people disrespecting nature like this is so disheartening. Nobody cares about the garbage

Feb 7/2021.I have passed here many times without coming off the main trail.This time of year the Millstone River is higher water then the summer. Play safe.

Nice little urban park near downtown Nanaimo. Good chances of seeing river otters, great blue herons, and salmon during spawning season. Nice pools to swim in during the summer.
