Nice quiet break from the stunning national parks. Has a very down to earth small town vibe. Lots of swallows flying around the bridge and along the river.

Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge
It was extremely difficult to access this bridge via Apple Car Play - the road recommended is under construction and inaccessible to vehicles. We abandoned our car and walked because we could SEE the bridge but couldn't figure out how to drive there. Bridge itself is beautiful and the river is fast moving and looks icy green.

Enjoyed my weekend with my friend in September 2021.Nice bridge over looking the river. We stopped here to find some geocaches before we stopped for dinner and drinks.

Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge
Quite interesting and complex wooden structure. You can't leave Golden without spotting this bridge. Beautiful to look at the kicking horse river, and the mountains. You can walk a short or long trail, or you just take a seat at one of the benches near the river.

Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge
Visit Golden this week and found this bridge near the place where I'm staying. I checked it out, and it's a pretty fun place to go for a walk. Nice trails around, and the river that runs underneath it is fun to watch.

Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge
Known as the longest free standing timber frame bridge in Canada. The name tells you the hard work the man placed in for it to be shared and to enjoy. Take a little walk round the two paths and settle down for a drink or bites by the side of the bridge will let you feel the greatness of the area. Recommended place for kids too

Nice place for a quick photoshoot. Bridge has information on its history on the side of the interior walls.Marvel at its architectural bridge design. Built in 2001 of all wood, this is truly an impressive bridge.
