Room to Roam Outdoor Learning

Our son attended the full year of outdoor school with Room to Roam and he also attended the summer camps. He always had fun and looked forward to school. We are surprised with his outdoor knowledge sometimes we find ourselves google searching if its true haha. Great program.

This preschool program is great! Cheryl and Nina are amazing; great teachers, always full of excitement, warmth and eagerness to teach the kids. Our son has been enjoying the year round program and summer camps so much! He has lots of fun and it’s the best combination of learning & being outdoors. Highly recommend!

Room to roam has exceeded all the expectations I had when I signed my son up (and I already loved the idea). We didn't have a good experience with daycare, he was miserable and sick all the time. I was amazed by how quickly the adapted to the program. His teachers are so sweet and caring to each one of their students. He is loving having school outdoors, exploring and having the freedom to choose how he plays. We have had nothing but good things to rave about to our other parent friends. Thank you Miss Cheryl and Miss Rachel!Bonus points: he's actually learning English faster than daycare, we only speak Spanish with him.

I was so excited when I first stumbled upon Room to Roam while searching for outdoor schools in the area. Their values and beliefs perfectly aligned with my own and I couldn’t wait for my outdoor loving son to attend! However, after having him attend full time for nearly a year now, I can tell you that my excitement has only grown, as well as a deep appreciation for what he is experiencing and doing. I have seen my son flourish in this program and am so incredibly grateful that he has had this experience under the expert guidance and care of his wonderful teachers. He is having fun, making friends, learning about the earth, exploring, playing and developing a deep connection to the natural environment. I don’t have enough good things to say about this school- if you can, sign your kid up NOW!

Can I give 100 stars? Our son attended Room to Roam for a year and we're so sad we're moving on to kindergarten and can't continue. We started with part time summer camp and immediately jumped on the chance to have him attend full time in the Fall when it was made available. Cheryl and Nina have been the best first teachers any parents could dream of. RtoR is full of joy, playfulness, learning, adventure and our son had the best year, even in the rain! I could go on and on - truly, the best preschool experience we could have hoped for and we're so grateful that we found the program!

My girls have done Room to Roam camps for two summers now and they’ve loved it. Cheryl & Nina are so patient and caring. It’s so great that the girls get to be outside all morning and explore and learn about nature.

Sign up! Don’t wait! Room to Roam has been the most incredible experience for our whole family. Our son has attended for almost 2 years now and it has been the best. Through sun, rain, snow and wind, our son has become acclimatized to our BC weather and really enjoys going outside now. It really is simple, properly dressed for the temperature and he has the time of his life outdoors.Thank you Cheryl, Nina, Izzy and Rachel for the best memories, adventures and comfort. It is an absolute pleasure to leave my sweet kid in the hands of such incredible educators.Can’t wait for summer camp before kindergarten and will definitely sign up for more summer camps after that.100% recommend this program!Alayna
