Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre

What a great stay. We were in town for a hockey tournament and couldn't ask for a much better stay. The rooms were clean and modern, and the pool was great. The only problem was they had a banquet going on and two hockey teams showed up at the restaurant so there was almost a 2 hour wait for food.

The staff are helpful and very friendly. You can’t beat the breakfast. Hotel is very clean and the pool,sauna, and hot tub were great.

Ann, front desk is THE BEST!! I was traveling with a disabled friend, we had no reservations and she worked MAGIC to accommodate us. I can't say enough about Ann because she made a potential DISASTER a most pleasant stay. The first floor rooms have access to the parking lot from a back door in your room. What a frigen life saver for a quick check in and out because your vehicle is 5 feet from your room. On the first floor ONLY!! THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AS HOME!!!

The Best Western Plus Dryden is very nice and it smells great. Everything feels new. The beds were very comfy. We had the pool to ourselves. It was very relaxing. We had a good sleep. It is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay

Hosted an event here and the service, care and food exceeded expectations in every way. They were organized and flexible with our last minute changes. The Staff were fun and friendly. Everyone had an amazing time and will be talking about Drag Brunch in the Sunset room for years to come. Thank you Best Western/B&Bs!

So disappointed in this hotel. I have spent a lot of money renting rooms here over the years and they have now decided to reject residents of dryden to rent rooms. And even though I am not a resident of Dryden (I do not pay city taxes, not a local and live outside of town). I have been denied renting a room. How can they deny a person from renting? This makes no sense especially now that the government is encouraging stay cations but this hotel is not providing this opportunity. Will highly encourage friends, family to chose other hotels to book their rooms and events elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay and felt it was a good value given how expensive motels are and you get so much more here. The staff were all very friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. I enjoyed using their gym and appreciated that they had a pool and hot tub. I also loved the complementary breakfast. I’m taking one star off because my husband didn’t like the coffee and the yoga ball in the gym was deflated and dirty. However, I will definitely stay here again

My room smelt like somebody had smoked in it. There were several failed entry attempts from the room's back-door which leads directly to the parking lot. Aside from the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion, there was no soap. The channel guide list placed next to the tv remote is not matching. I've paid less in other hotels which I had better experiences but I just needed to stay somewhere for one night.

Overall I liked this hotel a lot, there are a lot of good things about it but there were other things I didn't care for.Our main floor room was neat and tidy. Many main floor rooms open to the corridor and to the parking lot... I'm not a fan of that arrangement, it would be nice to have a choice. The room is definitely on the small side so for a family of four it felt cramped even on a short stay.The room itself is nice looking, not dingy although the decor is pretty tired. It had a musty smell which I'm assuming was from a recent carpet cleaning. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and clearly recently renovated. The sink is in a separate space outside the bathroom itself. The room contained a small refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker and a large TV with a wide range of channels. Wifi was available but was definitely below average. I would not expect to conduct video calls, etc. using the hotel network.Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, they are clearly well trained and dedicated. The lobby is quite nice with an excellent coffee machine that provides a full range of coffee and espresso drinks at the touch of a button. The hotel pool is pleasant and there is a sauna and hot tub as well although the latter was closed during my visit. There is a small but very well stocked gym available.There is a nice restaurant on site which I used as my room included a hotel breakfast. I was expecting either the usual continental breakfast or big tray of eggs, but to my surprise we were each able to order a breakfast made to order from the menu. The portions were huge and the food was fantastic, my sausage and egg breakfasts were definitely among the tastiest that I have ever had. Top notch.The hotel location is convenient to the Trans-Canada Highway with ample parking and some stores and restaurants nearby. Downtown Dryden is a short drive away. There is a busy rail line nearby but it's far enough away that I never noticed the rumbling of the trains while in the room.I enjoyed my stay at this hotel... I would certainly go out of my way to eat breakfast here whenever I'm in Dryden.
