If you have never been to rosthern hotel, you are not missing much. Its a nice place to sit and play slots. The weekends are wild and exciting. So come on a saturday night and watch the live action..lights, cameras, action!!

The food was good and fresh. Service was also good. Room rates looked reasonable. Looks rough on the outside but clean inside. My family would say this building is almost historic.

I checked into my room at 2:30 and the room I got wasn’t cleaned.The bathroom garbage was still in there from the people prior to me. There was food in the fridge and the sheets were FILTHY! Do not recommend!

This place has definitely seen better days. Looks a bit rough inside and out. We went because my friend had spent some time there as a kid but we found it difficult to find because the trees have grown up around the sign, so it's not visible from the road. We didn't stay in the hotel but visited the restaurant and bar. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the place is clean, and the ambience at the dinner hour was comfortable and friendly. Bar seating is a bit sketchy. Plywood stalls in the bathroom (one out of order). I would go back but if you're fussy about places, be prepared.

the bar is a good place to chill, have a beer, play slots, social distancing in effect, sanitizer available, smells very clean and is cleaned regularly as people leave seats and machines, smoking deck thats heated, pool table, juke box, staff are always helpful and nice, sweet chinese restaurant and hotel attached to the bar, washrooms are old and dilapidated, management needs to totally renovate and give this place a modern look and possibly enhance their seating with booths or comfier chairs, gas fireplace, darts, not before covid DJ EXL used to pack this place and was alwats a blast,
