Place was busy and only one poor lady was taking care of the whole place. Trying to be efficient as possible but what else you expect when she was the only one running around. Food was excellent. I suggest lamb dishes only, chicken was average. Bread pudding was good. Rice with Lamb was sooo good. Will try more dishes soon.Over all it was good experience.

Mandi is my favorite food which i can eat all day everyday. I have eaten mandi in Dubai, US, Pakistan, Turkey. I am quite familiar with its tase, authenticity and different ways of making. Since i was in Canada and this place came to my knowledge for serving Mandi, it was hard to resist. So we came here, at first the location was very nicely decorated and maintained. We ordered Mandi and Kabsah. Now if I don’t compare it with Dubai mandi (which is authentic flavor) I might be impressed, but since i have had better so this was kind of on OK side. Also I noticed that in Dubai, Pakistan people give Tomato chutney like it’s nothing but here in Canada and US, people give chutney in a bowl which is about like two tablespoons. So the flavors were just ok and the labban and lemonade were also on Ok side. The Kunafeh was good, again not as good as Dubai but still better.Suggestion for owner: I understand you are running business in a expensive country but please add more chutney to dishes.Suggestion for Customers: The food is good if you have never had mandi in any Middle East country, otherwise you might not like it that much.Flavor - Star - 7 / 10Authenticity of Flavor - Star - 7 / 10Cleanliness - Star - 7 / 10Service - No Star - 6 / 10Value for Money - No Star - 6 / 10Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

Visited Mandi Afandi restaurant for a late night meal after a hockey game. They pride themselves on authentic Arabia cuisine. We ordered their Mansaf lamb shank on yogurt and Chicken Mandi. They even gave me a complimentary lentil soup, which I found incredibly tasteful.The staff was extremely helpful and informative when it came to ordering. The Mansaf lamb was delicious as was the chicken. The meal was filling.The dining room is large and there is even a dedicated room for cultural dining. There is even a complimentary Arabic coffee counter for the patrons.Establishment is clean and there is plenty of parking. Excellent Arabic meals and recommended place to go.

Tasty food, we had the samosas, a mix of cheese and beef, they were tasty and fresh made.Sauce was great as well.For $6.99 for 7 pieces the are small.Also we ordered mini Mandi lamb, delicious the rice and the meat and the sauces, meat very soft but with a lot of fat around.For $16.99. Water a bottle about $2.They gave a yellow lentil small soup very delicious as well, I think was complementary.Definitely recommend this place.

First time trying food from Jordan. Portions were huge, the bones come right off when you try to move the meat. That how you know it's been cooked good. The lamb soup that came was also amazing. Only down side was they forgot about the desert we ordered, and we had to wait extra long for it. Will definitely return with my friend.

We had an Eid Lunch at our downtown office for around 30 people - and we decided to go with Mandi Afandi for catering.We first called the restaurant about 2 weeks before the event - the woman at the cash was very unaccommodating. She told us to call the day before our event to place an order, she mentioned there was no way to have the order prepared by the time we needed it and she refused to take the order in advance. It was very frustrating at first because we had a large order of almost $700.We then placed a pickup order online for the time we needed it ready (11:00AM) one week before and paid, received a confirmation email etc. We called again, the lady at the front mentioned she received the order but there was still no way they could have it ready on time as this is not a normal order". I insisted and asked her many times when she finally said she will speak with the Chef to see what they could doThe Chef
