Hock Shop Orillia

Tried to pawn my flesh light here the other day and they gave me 75% off retail value only because it was “gently used” . These guys are a bunch of gems for real. I gotta hand it to them I was trying to sell this thing all over town and they where the only ones that came though . Real classy gentlemen and love a good ol flesh light in my books. I have never been treated more kindly as I am by the jewelry manager. Her kind and positive demeanor make all visits to the hockshop something fun :)All of the staff are wonderful! Orillia is lucky to have such a great business in the community!

I would Absolutely recommend the Hock Shop Orillia to anyone. They're Always extremely helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra distance to ensure you're happy and secure with your purchase. Should any issues come up, everyone there is quick to solve them to your satisfaction. I've bought many different game systems and games, TV's, tools, phones and box sets from there over the years, and have only the best things to say about my experiences. They're my first stop as soon as we need any one of the items they carry!You should Definitely go see for yourself, you'll be very glad you did :)

By far the worst customer service I've ever seen ignorant and unfriendly staff I don't know who the dummy in the glasses is but he was very unprofessional needs to be taught how to speak to people when you walk through the door there's not greeting or anyone asking how you can be helped and then when you do ask for help the have an attitude I can tell you one thing I will never be doing business here again.

I would just like to thank the store owner Dave for going above and beyond after my order was accidentally canceled. Not only did he personally call me to apologize, he also held my item until the money got refunded back to my account. Then offered me a discount, and instead of having to pay for shipping, he is personally going to deliver my item to a store close to me so I can pick up there. What could have been a very stressful incident, turned into a great deal and easy purchase for me. Less than a week b4 xmas, this could have gone much different. Especially, because it is a PS4 that I ordered, and they are not available many places. My daughter will be thrilled on Christmas morning, and I am thrilled with the money I saved, and the convenience of picking it up in my city. Thank you Dave! I appreciate all that you have done to ensure my receipt of this gift.

For educational purposes:Gold stamps;14kp stamp means its 14karat gold *Plumb guaranteed + or - .5% ( usa federal law 1976)GE/GP means its gold plated.HGE means heavy gold plate *but it's still plated.I went in yesterday march 18, with a diamond ring set on 14kp yellow gold.I was told its plated and the diamonds are the only value. I knew that was wrong.I brought it back the next day to ask another employee. He said its 14k but the diamonds are too small to be worth anything.I only went back to verify if this place is scammy and its confirmed!I wonder how many people get ripped off being told they have plated gold when it is in fact pure to the numeric mark?

It's alright. Prices a little steep for some things. Didn't have interaction with the staff so I can't say anything about that. Though, they seemed very friendly from what I overheard with the other customers. :)
