Visited in early October during peak foliage and the place was just pretty with all the bright colors. This is a short drive from Mont Tremblant and is a good place to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Lac Mercier is a beautiful small body of water located on the outskirts of Mont Tremblant. It's a four season lake offering great kayaking canoeing and other water activities throughout the spring-summer-fall seasons and a wonderful skating experience through the winter months with breathtaking sceneries filling the landscape. In the summer you can spend time at the beach located on the south side of the lake while taking in vistas surely to please anyone's appreciation and the beauty found within. A place for the whole family where there's something for everyone. Being only 2 hour drive away, we make it a must see place each and every season every year.

For Swimmers, Sun Bathers, Bikers, its a hidden gem. The Plage Lac Mercier was so uplifting, marvelous, so cool the fresh water Lac, especially after biking approximately 2+ approximate hours. This is a trip on the fairly new well paved bike path, from Lac Mercier to St-Faustin/Lac Carré going south. Lac Mercier is situated right in middle of the unique vieux village of Mont Tremblant. Not far is the Big Mountain of Mont Tremblant. You can take the gondola to the top of the mountain, where you can have a coffee or sandwich in the restaurant. There are many B&Bs along the way and nearby. Also, various restaurants, bars, boutiques, sport shops, according to ones budget. You can visit the larger town of Ste. Jovite off of route 117. There are plenty of restaurants, boutiques as well in Ste. Jovite, now integrated with Mont Tremblant, now all one town. Had a cottage in Mont Tremblant, for 10 years, in years 85-95. Just nefore the hugh développent at the Big Mountain. what a relaxing, fun, scenic area to hang out, swim, bike, hike, golf (lots of courses), have to go or visit in Beautiful Quebec Laurentienns.

Nice lake near town and friendly people. The ice rink is actually on the lake and well maintained by a family. They even have an ice slide to go down. The ice rink is a large circuit and free. No lineup. Pay attention to the signs, as safety is important as you are on a lake!!
