Who actually likes going into the branch at the bank anymore? Scotiabank is one of those institutions that for most things helps you avoid that but the odd occasion you do have to go in this location is pretty good.That's probably why the lines here tend to be longer than the other places. But at least here you can actually get something done when you get to the front as opposed to some of the other locations I have visited.

After being on the phone for an hour to book an appt with a mortgage specialist, they booked my wife and I on a day when the employee Tammy" could help us. We got to the location at 9:30 to find out no one was available to help us out

It's my bank however, I withdraw from the ABM from one account then I'm supposed to be able to use their auto deposit machine to deposit cash (into another account). I've been able to do this ONE TIME ONLY. It takes the cash, counts it, then rejects it every time I go tine after time. I end up having to go to another branch that isn't as convenient of a location therefore a complete waste of my time. Very frustrating. I was told the machine breaks, they fix it, it breaks again. I have since skipped using this branch altogether. The only problem I have with using the other branch that has a working nighttime deposit machine is that, due to crimped bill's, folded bill's, etc, it doesn't always take those bills that I just received from their ABM machine one minute prior. ie: I need to deposit $400. So I withdraw $400 from one account then try to deposit it only to have bills I just received rejected. If I cannot straighten them good enough, I have to deposit less than I intended AND PAID FOR as there is a charge from two banks to do this. Ugh

The staff need training in customer service just an overall terrible experience every time. I haven’t been with Scotia that long had a terrible experience initially opening an account had only been to the branch not even a handful of times and the experience is something else. Would not recommend at all. I switched for convenience and I won’t be a client here much longer it’s that terrible in every aspect.

Love the service and people there.Went in with no appointment and we were assisted by Imad. Great super friendly guy who was able to help me and my wife understand and start our investment journey.

Good service, the Bank fees and extras are atrocious. i.e. my Bank fee is due on the 18 of each month and I didn't have the $$$ in the Bank to cover the fee and instead of allowing me to pay when I get there they charged me a 45$ overdraft fee. They don't give me overdraft protection for 5$ a month, but charge me an exuberant amount for late bank fee. WOOOW!!!!!!!!!

Snail speed of service on a Saturday, Imagine this, Im a Canadian going to the states, so I stop at the bank which is right before the bridge and go in to get some US dollars for the tolls and just to have as a convenience etc. there was no line up but it took 12-15 minutes of fumbling around, including handing me off to another person and then they had to go to the safe, and after more counts and recounts of the notes I had my 500USD. By the time I was served there were some visibly frustrated customers waiting behind me. This is not good enough for a branch that likely gets USD requests way more than the average Scotiabank. Long time (26yrs) scotiabank customer.

Visited to withdraw some cash. Greeted and served by one of the tellers named Sandy. Kudos to her! Great experience!

The bank is good but one of the employees there Imaad is a flirt and is trying to hit on the customers who’s way younger for his age (my friend here) . Try to keep things professional when you’re working for such a good company.

I had appointment at 3pm , Someone at the front desk told me to wait then i literally waited for 25 minutes.. No one was even asking me what i am waiting on .. Finally branch manager himself asked me why i am waiting.. After 1 hour i got my work done from the bank , horrible customer service.. i regret going to this branch
