What an amazing experience. I recently spend the weekend here with my wife and her family and it was not long enough. The location is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The food could not have been better and the staff were so great and friendly making you feel right at home. With all the onsite activities like horseback riding, fishing, archery, shooting and more, it made for a jam packed weekend. I would love to go again and highly recommend staying at least 4 days to really be able to experience everything they have to offer.

Incredible value for the price, especially for the area. Close to everything you'd want to see. Nice, comfy bed and everything was very clean. Somptuous breakfast included. Would definitely recommend.

We just spent a week at Mountainview chalet and really loved out stay. The property is quiet and private and well located. It is close to Calabogie Peaks and also the beach is right there (2 min drive).The whole chalet is well set up and well equipped with everything you'd need in a kitchen. It has laundry facilities in the chalet itself and has a front balcony, a screened porch and also a screened gazebo on the property.The TV and internet service was excellent and there is a selection of DVD and VHS movies as well.There is a wood burning fireplace and wood stacked outside is provided.The chalet is on a deep well so the water is clean to drink and cook with. The owner provides a water machine for use in the provided coffee makers (one perk and one Keurig).There is a nearly new bbq w/2 tanks on hand for bbqing. Bbq tools are in the chalet as well.If you forget anything, be sure to visit Charbonneau's Convenience store in town. There is also a General Store on the 508 as you come into Calaobogie that sells household items and snacks.If you would like a really nice place to eat, or simply have a great coffee, visit Neat Café in nearby Burnstown - their pizzas are divine!Be advised (and it clearly states it on their website), that you must bring bedsheets and pillow cases and towels. There are pillows and bedspreads on the beds, but for simplicity sake, you bring your own sheets and towels. There are some towels onsite as well.Finally, it is important to remember, that unlike a hotel room where you simply leave the mess to others to clean up, here at the chalet, the renters must return the unit to the state it was in before arriving - cleaned. It's important to know simply since you'll need to account for this before you check out.

Cette résidence a tout ce qu'il faut pour recevoir un groupe d'une vingtaine de personnes. Les commodités sont à points. La cuisinière au gaz à 6 ronds et u e plaque est d'une grande efficacité et d'utilité, en plus d'un poêle électrique conventionnel. La salle à dîner est d'une belle superficie ainsi que le salon. La vue sur le fleuve St-Laurent est imprenable!! Un terrain qui vient probablement d'être aménagé sera sûrement améliorer cette année. En cas de pluie il y a un garage transformable en salle a dîner ou de loisir avec un poêle à bois et une salle d'eau. Tous nos gens ont appréciés.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Skandia house. Perfect location, close to all Riding Mountain park has to offer, with the comforts of a grocery store, great cafe and other amenities in walking distance. The house is beautifully and simply decorated and the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. Would love to come back again.

Ce fut un merveilleux voyage et nous avons eu une température qui m'a permis de revisiter et de nager sur plusieurs plages. Durant cette 19e visite j'ai réussi à découvrir de nouvelles petites merveilles panoramiques. Les Îles nous ont chassé juste à temps pour éviter l'ouragan Fiona. Nous pensons à vous dans ces moments difficiles.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Louise et Jean-Rock, ils sont d'une simplicité incroyable!Étant mal pris car notre motel avait cancellé notre réservation; Louise et Jean-Rock nous ont accueilli et traité aux petits oignons dans leur beau gîte. C'était notre première expérience en gîte et nous sommes fort bien satisfait du gîte de la montagne enchantée. C'est douillet, tranquille et magnifique. Nous avons été accueilli le lendemain matin avec un bon déjeuner copieux et délicieux.Merci beaucoup !

Lovely New Caravans. Quiet site on a working Farm. Friendly family owners. Basic play area for kids.Scenic Location. Close walk to Robin hood Bay.As its a new site, I'm sure site will grow better over years.We Will us it again.
