Australian restaurant

Went on a Saturday afternoon and got a beef and cheese pie. Honestly pretty disappointed with the quality. It was quite soggy, nothing like the quality of the pies you get in Australia or NZ and far more expensive. I've had better even in other places in North America.

I celebrated my 36 birthday hear with 10 friends, fantastic fun lots of beer, great sausages and sauerkraut The atmosphere was just a barrel of laughs you could really think you were in a different country!Make sure you book weeks/Month’s in advance!

I absolutely love Kanga and I’m happy to see them still going at a new location. They recently reopened and are located here now. The prices may be a bit high but the pies are always delicious and tastes home made. The owners are very nice and friendly as well. Highly recommended.

We stopped by this place for breakfast and had such a fantastic experience! Our server Kori was so lovely, very kind and patient. The food tastes delicious! And make sure to try their cold brew grapefruit coffee, it's amazing!

I couldn't resist. There was a steady stream of customers into the shop at lunch time so did not resist and joined the line. I saw there was a nice variety of different pies and went for the traditional Aussie beef pie, not bad at all. Maybe not the prettiest pie and a little on the petite size, considering the price, however, the pastry was nice and flaky and the meat inside tasted quite nice and had enough gravy to make the pie moist. Couldn't resist and ate the pie there and then. There are only four stools to perch on, yet, you can have a view of the street and the people walking by.

My favourite spot for brunch and lunch in Kingston! Their food is consistently delicious, their coffee is amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Their patio in the spring/summer is also so nice to sit out on! And dog friendly :) pictured: huxtaburger with a side of chorizo and a chicken mozzarella smash burger with a side of bacon.

Eat a warm ready pie or buy a box of frozen pies to take home. Delicious food, helpful staff, and wonderful concept.

Grabbed a traditional pie on my way to the subway station after work. DE-licious. So many different varieties, will definitely be back to try the others!

Absolutely amazing space. The staff were so friendly and nice. The shop is small however it adds to the charm of being a cute little shop with such big flavours!!! There is a cute terrace also. But most importantly......the pies were simply outstanding. Not only were the flavours amazing but the pastry was absolutely on point!!!! The cutest thing of all is how their take out hot pies are packaged. They come in these little pie holders that you can flip the edges down and eat it whilst partly in the package... Genius! The owners clearly know what they are doing and their passion is portrayed in their food and in their amazing staff. Ta pies for such an awesome experience!

A very pleasant surprise. We discovered this place while on a walk and we are very happy we decided to try their pies. We had their original meat pie and meat pie with cheese. The feuilleté makes it very fun to eat compared to a pie dough. It gives a nice texture. The meat filling is very tasty and the the cheese is velvety. They serve it in a paper “container” that makes it really easy to eat with your hands without needing a folk and knife. Being close to a park, it’s an excellent lunch option if you want a simple and good picnic. The grilled vegetables has a good drill taste and smell. No complains for the cole slaw. It’s very filling food so we were not able to finish the side dishes. They have fun imported drinks and some take home items. Their pies of course and some import products as well. I definitely recommend you give them a visit. The young lady serving us was very sweet. We are definitely coming back.
