We so enjoyed a lovely fish lunch. The fish was so fresh and prepared just right! The service is excellent. Very friendly owner and staff! Well worth a stop, perhaps a stay. Next visit for us! Christine & Brian

This is a review of the restaurant. Our first stop for lunch in the later half of September just before they closed for the season. While not all the items on the menu were available we had an excellent lunch. Superb fried clams and an amazing fish chowder, perhaps the best chowder we have ever had outside our own kitchen and in a separate league from any chowder in a restaurant.

Holy prices, Batman! I get that they're likely a seasonal joint that's trying to make enough to pay their mortgage for the entire year but their prices are bonkers.The food itself was kind of meh. Mind you, the fish in the fish and chips was good but the rest was uninspired. The fries were cooked just to the point that you could say they were cooked but came to the table sans colour.They had the advantage of being the only place on the entire island that was open that day.Won't be back.

We ordered supper tonight from the 45th Parallel Restaurant on Deer Island. We are biased as we love the ladies down at the 45th and their amazing cooking! Our lobster rolls were amazing and perfectly paired with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Went for supper and had the 2 piece fish and chips. They were good, fresh, but not the best I have had. My wife had the fish burger and enjoyed it, but again not the best. The fish was good, but the bun was soggy from to much tartar sauce. Prices were a little high, but not many other places to eat on Deer Island.

Did not stay at the motel. The restaurant was delightful. Dined on the special of the day which was Haddock and Ceasar salad. Everything was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. The environment is quite rustic but certainly lends its own charm. First visit here but would definitely return.

I am not a big fan of fish and chips. I barely like seafood at all, however I believe in trying new things and experiencing local food. Fish and chips seemed like the best choice and I was right! This dish was so amazing! It was so good my daughter ate half my lunch, which was okay because the portion was generous. The staff were genuinely friendly too. I highly recommend this place!

This wonderful eatery has no pretentious fantasies. It's down home reading at its best. All the food is home made and absolutely delicious! The seafood is so fresh it delivers on all the promises and expectations. The owner told me that when she gets low on scallops her son puts on his way suit and goes out to the ocean to get some more! Don't pass this place. It's a must stop!

The scallops are delicious! They melt in your mouth. Locally caught is always the best. The service is friendly too.
