I highly recommend to take climbing courses with Emma! She is super experienced in climbing. She is really patient and no matter how many times you ask her questions, she repeats the instructions over and over for you to be the master! ❤

Anyone wanting to climb outside should start with Emma's anchor building course. I can't believe how much we learned in one weekend and how quickly we were able to put our new skills to use! Emma has a knack for making everyone comfortable and adjusting the pace as needed for everyone involved. We (my son and I) now feel ready to climb outside competently and safely, as we practice and build on what we've learned. I would give 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend!

I had my first ever climbing experience with Emma this weekend, and it was an absolute blast. We spent a beautiful day in nature, learned a bunch, challenged (and surprised!) ourselves a lot, made some friends, and had tons of fun.Emma made us feel so comfortable and confident even as beginners. There were more experienced climbers with us and Emma was able to give each of us the attention required, and give us all various climbing opportunities.Such a good vibe, so fun to meet new people, and just such a fun workshop. Highly, highly recommend. If you’ve never climbed before and it feels daunting to have a first experience be outdoors, this is your sign to do it anyway - you’ll be glad you did!!

We took a weekend course with Emma and it was excellent — i can’t recommend her highly enough. She was patient and thorough — and super nice! We felt completely safe and once the course was done we felt confident enough to strike out on our own. If you’re thinking about it — go with Emma — she’s the best! :-)

Emma is a very professional, supportive, and friendly instructor. I love Emma and her climbing courses! I have taken Outdoor Intro and Anchor Building course at Climbing Escapes. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun every time!!

As a first time doing outdoor rock climbing I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Emma is really helpful in teaching you how to belay, tie knots, and about the equipment. She’s also really encouraging and helpful when you’re stuck on the wall (and dealing with *a bit* of fear). Would definitely do this again.
