Camp Kee-Mo-Kee
My daughter just finished Forest cliff camp 2weeks ago and loved it! This camp was a last minute decision that she wanted to go to with her friend. It was a very bad choice! Beware!!!The first thing that the girls said to me when being picked up was all they made us do was chores". What kind of chores i asked? They made us go around the camp and empty all the garbages in boys and gilrs cabins and bathrooms everyday and sweep all the floors.we even had to clean the boys bathroom. I did not pay 425$ weekly to send my child to clean up after other people

I attended this camp about 4 years ago. I felt very out of place and would cry, not because i was home sick, but because i overall did not enjoy my stay. I felt ill from the lack of nutritious foods and it did not feel sanitary to clean the showers at the age of 8. The best sleep i got was when we went out into a ranch just outside the camp, where we slept on the ground. Best sleep of the week. I cried every night for my mother to pick me up. I am just putting it out there that the camp was not at all for me and if your kid is not as out going or out doorsy or is not used to leaving their home for a week with complete strangers in the middle of nowhere, its not the camp for them. My brother however did enjoy his stay and they are very religious if that's the type of camp you are looking for. Sorry but its my true experience.

Fantastic summer camp! My 7 yr old daughter attended and had a great time. Lots to do! She loved the crafts, archery and especially the Tuck shop. The meals were great and she can be a picky eater. Bonus when you don’t have to make lunch!

Extremely disappointing that a child can’t attend camp unless they follow the pack of sheep and get vaxxed. The rest of the world no longer needs it but this camp does. The kids could attend day programs with their class non vaxxed yet when you want to participate further your discriminated against for making your own health choice right for your own body

Would love to have left a better review for this camp, but this camp continues to discriminate against our poor children who have decided they are in charge of their own medical freedom. This camp apparently believes it holds a medical degree in our safety and in that is continuing to discriminate against kids 5 and up. Don't waste your time or money, there's lots of great inclusive camps around here.

My children have been going to camp keemokee for 4 years and have always enjoyed it. This year however was horrible!! I’m not sure who was running the camp this year, however as we arrived the people directing cars were playing on their phones/with toys looking very distracted from their job. When we arrived to the cabins my nephews counselled was playing video games in his bunk not even acknowledging the new campers. The other counsellor in his cabin took away the night time stuffed animals from the kids in the midst of a game that the other counsellor initiated. Pictures were not posted timely and there are only a few for their week. The system for sending notes to campers was down and no parents were notified, also campers could no longer send notes home and this was not communicated anywhere. It was just a terribly planned week!! I was very disappointed as this year I had highly recommended keemokee to a family member who sent her son for the first time and the experience was less than expected. I will be sending my children elsewhere for camp next year!!

my kids went to this camp for about 4-5 years and they have good things to do but i would be better if they had a lake or something to swim in that isn't a pool because most people have a pool and you go to camp to not be like you are at home, you go to get a taste of what it is like in the wild. kee mo kee is in the wood so you get that wildlife feel to it but it doesn't have any place to learn to o thing that you might need when you are stranded on an island. i am fully aware that that most likely wont be possible but they do not teach you to make fires, build shelter, etc. if they if they had a pond or a lake near then they could teach the kids to fish and other life skills that should be taught at a camp. over all my kids loved this camp an they continue to go every year.
