Sticky rice infused with soy sauce, shrimp, mushroom which gives it many types of umami, texture was satisfying but eel slices were thinner than I would've liked, and didn't feel substantial enough. It tasted like regular supermarket eel.

Foods are delicious but price is not good. The portion sizes are smaller than last year. Won’t be back as often as used to, mainly due to high price and small portion size.

A bit disappointed they don’t offer lunch set during weekend. Portion small, taste kind of light but acceptable, except soup noodle is too plain. Overall it doesn’t worth for the price. Service is fine, but not excellent.

Visited a second time today (Jan 2023). Prices of dishes are still higher than a decent meal in most restaurant. They probably increase their prices to allow for a 10% when paying with cash, thus saving on Merchant card fees for them. Credit paying customers are sucked into the higher prices.Notice the asst cook outside preparing food without wearing mask. All Covid viruses are also served to customers. I believe the chefs inside the kitchen also do not wear mask. Time to call on the Toronto Health and axe this restaurant. Good luck,

We went to the restaurant on a Friday night around 7pm, it was busy but it was a short wait for us to get a table. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the service was good. We ordered Rose marinated tomatoes, deep fried intestine, Red Vinasse fried chicken, Taiwan clear beef soup bowl. The portion was not large, but enough for the two of us.The food quality was good, and both the fried dishes were crispy and hot. The Taiwan clear beef soup bowl was a bit disappointing, the beef ribs were nice and soft, the corn was sweet, and the tofu was nice as well... The soup base was salty and did not have much beef taste.The best dish was the Rose marinated tomatoes, it was refreshing and tasty, definitely worth trying.The bill for our meal came to around $75, they offer a 10% discount if you pay by cash.Overall a good dining experience.

Love Taiwanese food, the quality of food is good, portions are on the small size. I would say with the limited resources we have in Toronto, the food taste very good already. If you look for Taiwanese food, this is the go to place!!

The Japanese style fried tofu and the Kabayaki eel sticky rice were both delicious.The tofu was expensive, it shouldn't be $13.99.

Everything on their menu looks good. We ordered an eel rice cake, daa noodles, ham hock, clear stew beef hotpot, stir-fried garlic pea shoots and Taiwanese pickles. Their kitchen was very efficient. Everything came shortly after ordering. We liked everything we ordered. Too bad their chairs were not very comfortable. Service was adequate.
