Autumn's Garden Spaces

After the passing of my Mother last year, I needed to add a flower garden into my space that reminded me of her .. Autumn was recommended by a Nursery in Newmarket as offering designs that were very different than what you would normally see - it was mid fall - I contacted her and she and I got along immediately! She is very professional, communicated and listened to my vision for the front space and curb of my home. She came out and measured my area and took notes .. I sent her images of what I liked and she advised of zone or tolerance issues. We communicated over emails over every plant that was going into the design - some from my list and most from her list. I ordered additional soil for a good foundation, Autumn brought in all the plants, shrubs, and trees and below is the final product including the original design. Autumn advised she would make one additional visit in the late spring should any plants not make it over the winter or if we need to move some things around for aesthetics. The project came in just over my initial budget. Highly recommend!

Autumn’s knowledge of plants, artistic talent and passion for her work says it all. She works hard for her clients to ensure they are happy from start to finish. We hired her in fall of 2019 not knowing what the spring had in store. But even with an unsure start date and challenges getting plants from her suppliers, Autumn came through in every way and we now have a beautiful “staycation” front garden to enjoy for years to come. I have never been a great gardener. As I’ve gotten older, gardening has become less of a pleasure and more of a challenging chore. Autumn, of Autumn’s Garden Spaces did a much needed overhaul to my garden . Autumn listened carefully to my preferences and chose wisely for the shady location and soil. She respected my budget, and I found the price reasonable. She added colour and beauty with new perennials and topped it off with some bright, cheerful annuals. It gives such pleasure to enjoy my morning coffee on the deck.

All this growing season we have been enjoying the beautiful flower garden that Autumn designed and planted in the spring. Autumn looked after everything – removing thirty feet of sod, building the flower bed, selecting and planting shrubs, grasses and flowers, and mulching. I believe her to be exceptionally talented in garden design – creative in choosing just the right plants to thrive in our climate and to complement each other in size, shape and colour. The garden looks fantastic in spring, summer and fall. Her knowledge of plants is very impressive and she is pleasant to deal with. We are very pleased and happy to recommend Autumn’s Garden Spaces.

Autumn did a really thorough initial consultation, walking us through every detail. Her team did an excellent clean up of all of our gardens, including weeding, pruning and moving plants. Autumn checked in with us midway to make sure we were comfortable with the budget. It was a huge job and it all looks beautiful. Highly recommend.
