We went in shortly it opened in the morning. The restaurant is relatively empty with no line up. I entered telling them 3 including my baby. The waiter said all party must arrive before seating. I am holding on bags and stuff on hand and I told them I will ask them to come in once I get seated. Baby is just with my spouse outside in the car. The waiter still said no. Shortly after we got seated, another party got served but they do not have full party. They are Caucasian though. This shop just has no love for kids and treat people differently based on race. Disappointing.

Dont be fooled by the below 4 star rating because this place is a gem.Their portion for the pricing is so worth it.This is not a joint for the ambience and dining experience but rather for good food, fast service, and damn good fish.It gets busy for dinner time though, be prepared. Also they won’t seat you unless your full party is here.

2.5/5Pretty mid. Food is fine, nothing spectacular. It's pretty average food, but feels like you could get it at a food court. Portion sizes are not worth the price at all. Service was fine and the restaurant is fairly comfy, with enough seats to accommodate large groups.Fine for a meal if nothing else around in Metrotown interests you, but I probably won't be coming again.

I haven't eat there for a longtime. After buying some takeout today, it reminds me why I haven't go there. I don't think I have eaten sushi with lettuce in it ,and so much cucumber as big as a pc.of rod.

Was really craving sushi and sashimi on a hot summer day, so decided to hit Sushi Garden out of convenience.The food is alright. We ordered a 2-people combo to share and we’re comfortably full.I wouldn’t say there’s much of an ambience to the restaurant. It was more of a man eatery but at least the place is relatively clean. Went around 4 pm and had plenty of seatings.

I loved almost everything about this place, quality food, fast service, complementary tea for everyone, reasonable prices.There were only two things that could be considered to improve- when we entered the place the floor was so slippery that we felt like we were on ice rink (I guess it only happens when it’s wet outside and you come in with wet shoes)- serving a hot tea from a plastic jar is not a good idea I guessAnyway this would be my favourite sushi place for now

Really average sushi. No special rolls or a là Carte foods that separate it from other restaurants. It’s your typical California, dynamite, tempura roll type makis. If basic sushi is what you’re looking for, this restaurant is good. But if you’re adventurous, there are many better options in the area. Sashimi was not fresh and the restaurant was dirty.

Solid quality comfort Japanese food, with quick service and decent portion sizes. Make sure your whole party is here otherwise they won’t seat you though. Food comes out fast though once ordered so it is very efficient.
