CIBC Branch with ATM

My experience at this CIBC location made me cancel my CIBC chequing account. I came here with my dad after his account got defrauded close to $20K. I was at this branch for over five hours trying to report the fraud being helped" by a Chinese lady rep who did not know a THING about what she was doing. The entire time she insisted that she was doing us SUCH a big favour for helping us because she was Chinese (even though I can speak fluent english)

This is a very friendly CIBC Branch! This Branch has been here for over 40 years and I have been dealing with them for over 30 years! The service here has always been very good and they have never made a mistake on my account since I have been dealing here! Adela is a senior finance advisor here and she is very knowledgeable. She is a very good Banker with many years of financial experience and she will go out of her way to help you! I highly recommend this Branch.

Horrible experience. I guess customers service is not a thing anymore.

Poor product knowledge, little effort to understand customer needs

Staff acted unprofessionally and they receive an F in customer service.

Josie and Branch Manager were amazing help and did everything they can to solve my problem. Even though I entered branch 10 mins before closing, they made sure everything all my problems were solved. Thanks for all your help.

Recently switched from another bank to CIBC and I am heavily disappointed. Without being aware of this, CIBC signed me up for a bank plan with outrageous service fees every month. After attempting to get reimbursed for a plan I did not want in the first place, I was only reimbursed for a month. I have lost an ambudance of money. Even after switching plans, I continued to be charged service fees for the previous month. I spoke to a teller asking to be reimbursed given this situation, and was met with an unpleasant disposition and was refused. Meanwhile, a lady who worked in one of the offices claimed I would be able to be reimbursed, and I have not been. Not impressed with the service here and will consider switching banks.

Went to use the ATM over the holidays and encountered a homeless man living in the outside atm area. A little unnerving considering it is no longer cold out. I’ve seen many banks close their ATM areas for such reasons. Not really a location I use the tellers but find the location convenient.
