One star seems too good. Poor poor customer service. Wanted to open an account and got the run around for a week and a half. Poor communication and staff wasn't very friendly. Covid isnt an excuse!

Walked in into this branch half an hour before my appointment (appointment was at 3:00 PM). Tellers were chatting to each other, were staring at you, but none came out or greeted or asked me purpose of my visit. There was no smile or welcoming body language. I walked to one of the tellers, she asked me to wait for the advisor for my appointment. It was 3:15 PM and still no one came out to help or ask why I am here or who I am waiting for? It was worse service. Writing this review after 3 weeks of this incident. Now I have moved everything out from RBC and moved to other Financial Institution.

Regret setting foot in this branch! Being a 37 year preferred client at RBC I've never encountered such lack of professionalism and people skills by a bank advisor. I was there to co sign for my Grand daughter for a small student credit line. Bank Advisor Anna Akubor told me that my financial status means nothing when being a co signer. Unbelievable.. And at that point the meeting went bad. It is day 11 now and the wait continues to hear back to go back to sign the documents. Hopefully a dedicated RBC Manager reads this rating and I'd gladly discuss.

On April 6, 2021, my sister asked to withdraw money from her account. The teller broadcasted the amount she wanted to withdraw three times loudly enough for the other customers to hear. After warning my sister that she shouldn't be walking around with that amount of money on her person, the teller had the audacity to ask what the money was for. This was not only a blatant disregard of customer privacy but also could be interpreted as a 'set up' for a potential mugging! Is this just the lack of professionalism on the part of the teller or a common customer service practice at this branch?

Not helpful. Referred to call customer service which never answer , 2hrs on hold. Branch said can't help ,so what's the point of having it.

Lucky to get one star. The teller looked me in the eyes and told me the amount I could access immediately after depositing a cheque. This was after I asked for a replacement card, and telling me I could continue using my old card until I get the new one. Nope.Either way, I found out shortly after they froze my account, so I could not access the funds that were already in the account. I called and had the card situation explained but only after I called a 2nd time did they explain that my account was frozen. So I get to go back to branch again today because nothing can be done over the phone, despite 2 years of COVID/working from home. Which reminds me, previously, it took them over a month close a loan account for a vehicle. Which meant another loan payment came out despite walking in to the branch and paying cash a month earlier. When the payment bounced we called and explained and was told to go back to the branch. I said there can't be any possible reason to go into the branch. She insisted we had to. Sure enough, we go to the branch and we were asked why we came into the branch when we did not have to. Stupid.Very poor, confused service. They make it up as they go. Do not bank here. They suck.

Refused to give any money because “I don’t have an account” and cause “this is fake ID” and “this is a McDonalds”. Unreal

After reading the rest of the reviews, I’m not surprised at the service I received. The teller was beyond rude, unhelpful, and was back talking to me as I re explained what my issue was multiple times because he wasn’t understanding. Literally the worst customer service experience.

you dont often have a great time on hold with a bank, thats a given. this is the first bank ive felt was actively trying to hurt my mental health anytime one of their own systems fail. which is frequent.

I was approved for a car loan with rbc through auto gallery and I have to say the customer service I've had at this location has been absolutely horrible. I went in a few months ago to change my payment dates to line up with my payments to my pay schedule and was treated as if I had no clue about loans or money management. I finally got the help i was looking for after being treated horribly by multiple staff members at the branch and my payments have never come out on the correct dates or even consistent dates for that matter. I have worked customer service jobs for 8 years and I never complain because I know customer service is not an easy job but the customer service I've had at this location has been absolutely disappointing.
