Bought some cool stuff there for Christmas but will not return because the sales staff don't inform you about their refund policy. I asked and when I got the answer I wanted I though I was safe until I had to return one small piece because of the size. tried to get the proper size but they didn't have it .Wanted my money back and no go. She said the receipt should say final sale and it didn't and I was not informed about any final sale or I would not of bought it...although they were willing to exchanged it for something I had no interest in and had to pay the difference on. Buyer Beware..I know they lost me as a costumer..

Went with my daughter to look at Daughters Pride rings. The woman that waited on us seemed disinterested in serving us. She didnt offer to take any rings out for my daughter to look at. She even went so far as to ask my daughter if she was even interested in getting a daughters pride ring. On the walk over to Charms, my daughter told me the sales woman made her feel uncomfortable while being there. I know they work on commission as well as salary....her loss lol...we spent $600+ at Charms! I am really surprised at the customer service difference between the two stores seeing as they are owned by the same people. If Crescent isnt meeting targets, I would evaluate your staff.

Im very upset about the horrible customer service i received in the macallister place location today.Took my rings for a sizing. The elderly lady that waited on me was rude and dismissive and spoke to me like i was a great inconvenience .She got the sizer out and when i asked her if she thought it was too big now, she told me in the rudest tone ever that even if it slides around its ok. You just have to live with it.Then the real fun began when i told her i didnt have my receipt,she toldme it would cost 100 dollars a ring tosize them.After i objected. She huffily went on the computer and looked me up, after saying how was she supposed to know i bought it there? All of this was accompanied by the dirtiest looks imaginable. I will never, ever be back for so much as a watch battery.This experience ruined my day.Is this how staff are trained to speak to customers who spend alot of money there. My rings certainly werent cheap.The customer service i received was sub par. I actually felt sick and shocked when i left there. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Long read but I feel it is important for anyone thinking of buying anything from Crescent.I am writing this complaint as I feel it is my last option to get through to Crescent diamond and jewelers. My wife purchased my engagement ring in November 2021 from this store. She dealt with Holly (whom of which unfortunately no longer works there) She was great to deal with, prompt with needing it re sized. Nothing was ever questioned when we needed services done on my ring (cleaning/inspecting etc.) In November 2022 we got married in Mexico. One month prior (October 2022) I had my ring re dipped as the color was turning and I wanted it perfect for the wedding. On November 26th, we were on the plane home and when I looked down at my hand my main diamond was not in my ring. I searched all over the plane and could not find it. I was devastated but found some comfort in knowing that it would be replaced as my wife purchased the lifetime insurance through Crescent. Once we arrived back home we promptly went to the store with my ring. We were greeted by the manager Alicia. She said in all her years working with jewelry she had never seen this happen and especially within ONE YEAR of purchasing a ring. She asked for our insurance papers. We live 30 minutes from the store and we did not bring them. I asked is this information not on file from when it was purchased, she said they need the physical paperwork. This policy is clearly outdated but nonetheless we took the ring home and came back the next day to drop off the paperwork with the ring. She said she would send it out the FOLLOWING week. I was shocked, no rush, no priority to get it out, just on the next shipment. So after being noticeably upset she said she could send it out next day. After this I did not hear from Alicia for two weeks and I had to call her myself. She did not have much information other than she thought the ring was in Halifax but it is now apparently sent to Ontario to be fixed and she is unsure when it will be done. I asked for a new ring, she said there was no other rings in Canada to give me (I find this very hard to believe) I was given no timeline, nothing. So I waited, still nothing more from Alicia. I called the store again and got a new employee who knew nothing about my ring. Asked for Alicia to call me herself next day as it had now been over a month. Alicia called me back and said she still had no answers as she hadn’t heard back from the vendor but it “should be back to the Halifax office next week”. Today at the 7 WEEK mark, Alicia called me and said she SHOULD have the ring back to the Halifax office within the next two weeks and then it will be shipped out to me. There is no definite yes or definite no answers in these 7 weeks. I have been married since November 2022 and have not been able to wear my ring which was multiple thousands of dollars. Instead I am wearing a $20 amazon ring. I have been offered no compensation, no compassion and no answers. I feel saddened for my wife who spent all this money entrusting she purchased a high quality ring from a reputable company who has done nothing but give me the run around since November. I have written TWO formal complaints to the email provided online and all that was said was “we will forward this to store management” who has done absolutely nothing but say she doesn’t know when it will be back. I will continue to share my story with people to discourage them from purchasing anything from this store and I hope the communication from your staff greatly improves for future customers.

I took my ring here to get sized down and the lady at the counter was very nice and said it would take 7-10 days, I got a call 2 days later and it was done. Very good customer service!
