We built our garage three months short of five years ago. We haven’t had any issues, until today. The spring on a garage door broke trapping my car in the garage. I called Derrick, and with in two hours he had a very polite man here to assess my issue and free my vehicle. The service technician has plans to have the spring fixed within the next few days. I am in absolute shock that it was this easy to deal with this company. There was no arguing, there was no blaming, he just checked his system confirmed that it was still under warranty and had a solution. If you want a quality garage built to last with great customer service these are your guys.

I received two quotes for my garage construction project. Ultimately I went with Gecko, as their price was essentially the same as the other, but promised a one week build instead of four to six week. In addition to getting to use the garage sooner this meant I would have to deal with less of an ongoing disruption to my yard and neighbours, (and dog!).True to plan, this garage was built quick! A couple of work days for concrete prep/pour/form removal, a couple days of actual garage construction once the concrete was all set, and finally door and eave installation. This is achieved by having their own crew do as much work as possible, minimizing reliance on 3rd party subcontractors and their suppliers.Derrick was great to work with throughout the process, handling all permitting, a reasonable installment payment schedule, and allowing me to customize virtually anything I wanted from outlet and door placement to amount of lighting with updated quotes as required.

I’ve had two garages built by Derrick and his amazing team. They are friendly, show up when they say they will and do efficient, high quality workmanship. I highly recommend Gecko! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I first saw Gecko Projects when a neighbour built a garage in the summer of 2020. I was very impressed with the ethic and quality of work I saw being done. I contacted Derrick and received a quote but I would have to wait until 2021 to have my project completed.During the fall/winter, I emailed Derrick every now and then with some follow-up questions. His responses were very thorough and all of my questions were answered.Towards the end of winter, Derrick came by and surveyed the site and we started ironing out the details of the build. I was told my garage would probably be built at the end of June or early July with the current waitlist (which is exactly when it was finished).I was advised of the build start date two weeks before construction started. This allowed me to clear anything from the parking pad that needed clearing.When the job started, things moved quickly. I was impressed with all the crew members that worked on my garage. The concrete crew was very detailed and took their time to ensure everything was done properly.The overall garage quality is fantastic.
