Blanchard Mountain Landing Zone
I was on vacation and driving back to Anacortes. Something caught my eye above the mountain and I was thrilled to see it was a large group of hang gliders! I quickly pulled in and realized that I was at the landing zone. I stayed for a long time watching them come in. It was so beautiful there and such a thrill to watch!

Blanchard paragliding LZ is large and plenty of field to land. You can hike up from the LZ to the launch about 1hrs.
